I've seen reviewers scroll right past this feature multiple times on YouTube without mentioning it. Cool feature

Like that Creep Show episode I saw when I was 6. “Thanks for the ride, lady!”
It’s impossible to forget! The boobs in the story about the lake probably helped etch that episode into my prepubescent brain too!I remember that episode also, LOL
Ok thanks was just thinking ahead quick stop at store gallon of milk in a plastic bag set it on seat.I’m not sure if it’s weight or detecting the seatbelt. If it’s weight it can tell when my 40 pound son is in his booster seat.
What the heck are you talking about.Don't do that to poor Huunvubu!! He would have to add that to his disable in Forscan list.![]()
I like the poor man's method: Take a shoe off and put it in the back seat when you have a child in a car seat there. I guess this works until you are driving barefoot. This is great for carseats, as while I'm highly unlikely to forget the kiddo there have been some tragic incidences with stressed out parents.
My partner bought a thing called CleverElli that says "don't forget to check the back seat" every time the car is turned off.
My problem with isn’t that it’s there necessarily. It’s just it should go out once it determines all people that are in the vehicle are buckled (which I am usually the only person in the vehicle) I would like that to go out as soon as my seat belt is on. What I hate is that it stays on even though it knows I am belted and there Is no one else in the vehicle. Its annoying to push ok every time I get in to drive. Ford needs to either fix it, or allow people to disable it. It does not influence me to put on the seat belt since I do that anyways.I have had my Maverick for 19 days and initially it would show and when I put on the seatbelt it would go away.
Now however it won't disappear even when putting on the seatbelt. A green check mark appears on seats with belts attached but I must hit the OK button to make the seat belt display go away.
I did was attempt to update the Maverick system firmware. The update said no updates were available and the system versions stayed the same but maybe just checking for an update was enough to enable the seat belt reminder to stay displayed.
Another reason maybe in the settings as I did change a few. I will look again later today to see if there is some setting I enabled that causes this display to stay up.
It was a reasonable attempt at humor in context to your remarks. Maybe I was reaching too far from the context for the joke. Nothing personal. What the heck are you talking about.
I never said anything about disabling it. I only want it to disappear in a timely manner after seatbelts are put on.
@houselog442 is the one who wants to disable it.
