Do you mind sharing the name of the shop? My son in Platteville has an XL coming and that's about the only option we wanted. If the shop is in Dubuque, that's an easy drive for him to have it done.

Thanks so much. Yes, we live in Middleton. Had to travel to Iowa to get a deal on our first Maverick though. Went to Granger.

I installed seat heaters in my 24 XLT . Not easy but worth it .I’ve done this same process on 4 other vehicles so it’s kind of second nature being a retired mechanic. Replacing the metal hogrings with nylon zip ties for the upholstery is the most intricate part for me . Wiring is straightforward process. Pull the seats out because it’s only 4 bolts and one plug.

I specifically made sure I had heated seats and wheel I live and south Florida and like to use it

When I finally get around to installing mine I was thinking of doing it that way. I am going to see how hard I find it to remove the factory seat upholstery.

I read a post somewhere that someone did this.

It's super easy the factory upholsteries only held on by a few plastic clips that snap into the metal seat frame around the foam cushion.

Which package truck is your Ecoboost? I have the "bargain truck", 23 Hybrid XL with CP360 and a hitch.

I still have not found the time to tackle this project, or updating my speakers, even though I have amassed all the parts!

Knee surgery and life have held me up. Sorry not to be of more help.
