IF you want to base your decision on the affordability to the Ranger….test the the XL ….which is what most commercial buyers will order

Probably, but since I ordered an XLT hybrid, I preferred it this way ;)

Never considered my 2021 Ridgeline weird-looking, but I am getting rid of it for a Mav.

Talk about a review that SELLS the vehicle WELL. Wow.

It's good to see they hammered it a bit. The red line review is good also.

If you know these guys you know that they are ruthless and will absolutely tear a vehicle apart if it deserves it. They are the most critical and most technical in their deep dives of almost all on YouTube. A on Autos, Redline are close but without humor and raw opinions. The fact that they say they like the truck says a lot.

Thats cool, I had never heard of these guys before. Good to know they considered highly. I was about to completely write them off after the glossy matte comment 🤣

I'm glad they liked it, but this review wasn't very good. It just told me constantly that the maverick was cheap.
I can see that perspective if you have never seen their work before. These are more "initial thoughts" as they mentioned they will be looking at the 2.0 as well as talking about their discussions with engineers.

The Mazda3 review here, here, and here are good examples of how thorough they get. Three videos on the current-gen totaling more than an hour on just one car. I don't see anyone else on YouTube doing anything close to that.

- The first guy says the matte interior is too glossy. Matte and Glossy are the exact opposite of each other! LOL.
You realize they were talking about different parts of the interior, right? They spacificly said the dash was glossy, and the rest had a matte finish.

Normally, I love the reviews from Savagegeese, but this one is a bit lightweight. I will give them some slack since they did mention that they will do a more in-depth review at a later time, but I do think that the setup on these trucks are going to be quite reliable on the long term. Can't wait for the more in-depth review to come up.

Idk if other platforms use the same rear setup, but the rear springs (4:24 in video) seems like it would be a concern in the future. What do I know though??

Great review, I live in Florida, and always buy a dashboard mat to keep my vehicle cool. (most dashboards are dark, and absord heat) mats also don't reflect, and come in lighter colors.

Yes, that is the standard setup for nearly all torsion beam rear end vehicles since the 70s. What about it looks concerning to you?
