I think it's time for a review and some pictures of the mighty little truck that seems to do it all! I have had my XLT Hybrid Maverick since the beginning of last August after a 13 month wait and it was absolutely worth the wait. My dealer experience was also fantastic! It was so good that I went back and got my wife (her choice) a 2023 Bronco sport Big Bend from them last week!

Over the past 9 months I have used my maverick from the typical home depot runs to moving everything in a house while getting over 40mpg!! The Maverick is a like a Swiss army knife. It's fun to drive, gets gas milage like a Prius and can hall most stuff any big truck can! The only reason for a mid size or full size would be to tow something big or extreme off roading.

Mods:
. Smartliner all weather floor mats
. Gator SFX tri fold tonneau cover
. Dealer spray in bed liner
. 2x6 boards
. Motorola MA1 Android auto wireless adapter
. Ford bed mat
. Driver's side bed cubby
. Center console dividers
. Future mod will be Firestone Destination A/T2 or Falken Wildpeak A/T3W in 235/65R17

Pros:
. Better than advertised MPG (can expect over 50mpg on hilly back road trips!). The last few days I have been getting 57mpg not even trying! I only use normal or sport mode. I will never use eco. No need to and I like to have a little fun!
. Power! The hybrid has plenty of get up and go!
. Quiet. It's very quiet and smooth driving!
. Love the fun XLT Interior!
. The basic stereo sounds very good after the settings are adjusted!
. It's a good looking little truck! Love all the complements and people asking about how I like it and that they want to get one!
. Plenty of room for the family! I have 2 kids (7 and 6). They have lots of room in the back. Even me being 6 1 have no issue fitting in the back!

Cons:
. Windshield rattle when it's cold out.
. Grabby brakes when it's wet out.
. Goes in Deep sleep a lot when it's cold out
. Door water bottle holder seems basically useless
. Rear view mirror even at the adjusted highest setting is still to low

Wish list for future Mavericks:
. All Mavericks should come with a push button start
. Would love the next version of the Mav to have a 5 foot bed. I have carried lots of things that just were a little long to fit needing to put the tailgate down.
. AWD hybrid that can tow 5000lbs
. Sync 4

Hey yours looks just like mine!

Great review! I agree with you on everything EXCEPT the push button start button, which doesn't work for me.

Looks Mighty Maverick comes thru again. Ten years ago who would have ever dreamed something like the Maverick would be available. Dream come true. Continue to enjoy, good pictures and GREAT review.
