  1. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

@Johnkn was right. It was a speed sensor. The cable was frayed. There is no way to tell if it was from the tire replacement, rocks, snow, etc. Ford corporate extended my warranty to 5 years/75,000 miles because it was at the dealer for so long. I was not expecting that but I appreciate the gesture.
  2. What's your Maverick hauling in the bed? [Photos Edition]

Definitely got some strange looks at the Costco gas station. It fits so well it's like the Maverick was made to haul a 200-gallon outhouse pump tank. This fit like a glove too.
  3. Recommended Trickle Chargers?

Who recommended that? The dealer? That’s bogus. Bring it back to the dealer, or a different one, and tell them it’s an issue. I’m working with my dealer and Ford on the same thing . The more of us that say it’s a problem the better.
  4. Auto Stop/Start Not Working

Update: After over 3 weeks in the shop I might have some answers. You can see my other post here. The tech thinks that the faulty differential might have been the issue. The control unit was power cycling even when the truck wasn't on and thus draining the battery. We'll see after a few weeks if...
  5. When shutting off truck rear click sound

Mine sounds like a pin sliding into a shaft when the vehicle is turned off. I've wondered what that sound is. Is that what you hear or is it something else?
  6. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

Update: The dealership believes they have narrowed it down to the rear differential. They also warned that this might not resolve the issue. They ordered the part but it's on backorder and they don't have an ETA yet. My corporate contact called yesterday too and said if this doesn't resolve the...
  7. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

Update-ish: After an awful service experience with the dealer where I purchased the truck, I decided to move to a highly-rated Ford dealer that's 15 miles further. I dropped the truck off on 1/19. I called today for an update and they have no idea what the problem is. The next step is gutting...
  8. Keyless Entry Keypad removal DIY how-to instructions

Thanks! I've got proof! That jerk hit me.
  9. Keyless Entry Keypad removal DIY how-to instructions

Thank you!! I got hit by a turkey and the only damage was popping out the mirror, scratching the heck out of those decals, and a new pair of undies. Can you post a link to where you got the part? I found this link but it would be great to confirm it's right.
  10. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

The warranty at Costco is worth it for me. And I got the wheels off Craigslist but I think I just got lucky. 1-year-old set off a 2018 Escape with TPMS sensors for $250. Another update: I drove to work and back yesterday and I never got a fault. Completely normal dash. I haven't done anything...
  11. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

Update: I went to Costco. They said to take it to the dealer and if they were the cause they'll cover it. The dealership is so busy I can't get anyone to answer. I can only leave a voicemail. I'm guessing it will be a while until I know more. Sadly only a few inches.
  12. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

The only thing that has been changed on the truck in 10+ months is the tires. Only the front wheels have blue tape and the sensors with visible wires are on the front wheels. Not sure what to make of that. Agree that it doesn't have a factory look. Does anyone else have blue tape on the front...
  13. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

👍🏼 I haven't gone down that rabbit hole yet but that's a good reminder to tread lightly.
  14. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

Thanks, all, for the help and advice so far. Below are the 4 sensors. To me, they don't appear to be clearly damaged but I could be wrong. Edit: I want to note that back sensors (1,4) are very well taped and the front two have visible wires (2,3) No lights on when I started it today. Went for...
  15. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

These were 4 special-order tires delivered to the warehouse. I know they are all the same. No, I'm not. But I drove 20-30 miles without issue and the truck displayed what appeared to be correct tire pressures. I'll be taking off all four wheels tomorrow to inspect the suspension.
  16. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

This is my first time reading codes in Forscan. I am not sure what to make of all of these.
  17. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

It no longer lists the tire pressure. They also aren't listed in the display. It shows --- for each.
  18. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

Forscan would show a fault for this, correct? I'm at work and can't check until tonight.
  19. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

The wheels had sensors. They were previously used on an Escape. Costco programmed them for the truck.
  20. Multiple drivetrain faults after getting winter tires

I search but didn't find many with this issue. I've got a Lariet Lux. I got the XL 17x7 steelies and put 225/65 R17 winter tires on. They were installed by Costco two days ago. Today I drove to work in the snow and got the following all at once. I stopped for a bit for an appointment. Started it...
