Road Bike in rear seat area?

Want to order a new truck later this year, probably a Lariat. Need a truck to tow my 1947 MG TC and replace my 08 Element. QUESTION: will I be able to put a racing road bicycle, front wheel off, into the rear seat area. 700c wheels. that's inside the cab, not the bed. Any photos of such appreciated!

as for towing, no issue with the Maverick tow package. the TC is not a heavy car, 1800 pounds. cannot do that with the Element.

I don't think so. My road bike takes the whole bed with the front wheel off.
The bed is 4'6" and the cab is not that wide.

Looks like that's a Silca frame pump, Campy brakes? I own two Della Santa, one of which is a color similar to Azura Gray (my first color choice). Since Roland DS no longer with us, I would prefer the bike inside. Maybe with the bars turned? I will have to take a bike to a dealership and see.

Anyone else with info?

I think I saw that pic as well. If a 26er, and mtn bikes often longer frames, then maybe. I think Ford used to hype the notch in the door as a feature. Again, methinks a trip to a dealer in order...

That space between where that bike wheel is set and the other side same place is about 58."
The space from the seat to the ceiling is about 31" and if you lift the rear seat (It locks in the up position)then about 41".

ABSOLUTELY YES, you can put a road bike in the rear with the seat up.
My Pinarello Dogma and my track bikes have been put inside my 2022 literally hundreds of times.
TIP: Put in the bike in from the drivers side. Rear wheel goes in first. Have your left side crank at 12:00 and aim the rear wheel for area right behind the front passenger seat belt. Left side of your handlebars rest on top of the folded up rear seat.
