I like the look, the stance and all of the goodies I added to the Maverick that cause warranty questions are standard on the trail boss and so no warranty issues.

I do miss the great gas mileage with the Maverick. With the oversized tires, I was getting 27+ mpg's not taking into account that the speedometer was not correct. The overall diameter of those tires were 29.5" up from I think 27" on the original scorpions. I am getting 22+ mpg's in the Colorado...

Yes, I agree and especially about the tight space and the step in height! We'll see as time goes by how that works out for us. The Maverick was so much easier to get in and out.

Yes, as I added all options to compare the Ranger was more $. I called my Ford salesperson and asked if they had one on the lot that had some of the options I wanted and she said she would check the next morning and get back with me. She didn't and we had to get things moving....hence the Colorado.

Yes, a hard pill to swallow, but the price we sold the Maverick for was still a great price for our son and got us half way to the Colorado sticker price. The Colorado is nice however I found the Maverick to be of sound quality and well designed and made.

In early April we sold the Maverick to our son. Due to its price point it makes a real nice vehicle for him. I put a 2.5" lift on it and 1" spacers on front and 1.25" spacers on the back, fender flares and a tailgate damper and a prized Campagnolo sticker to the back window. I also just recently...

My gosh! Just get the device/cable that attaches to the on/off button in the console. So much easier to install and cheaper too!
