IMHO is to much money, just like others said a 2024 or even left over 2023 (those still exist with 0 miles, left overs from the camera recall) get your extended warranty and enjoy your truck and your hard earned $$.

In 1957 top of line was a bit north of $5000.00!!!I looked this week online at Rangers and Colorados on the lots around me. They were 52 and up. A Colorado 2 wd with the Z71 package was 64k! It might have been gold plated though![]()
I posted a while back about taking the Mav to get a keypad installed (fail!) and looking at the new pickups "on sale" with employee pricing; there were many that were over $100k. And they were NOT fancy compensator trucks like Raptor, just F250 4x4 work trucks with a bunch of options and trim levels.I looked this week online at Rangers and Colorados on the lots around me. You are mistaken if you ever think prices will go down enough to make a difference. Nothing ever "returns" back to a previous price. Capitalism at its worst.I am interested in the Ford MAVERICK TREMOR. I have found no such deals or sales on them happening, except one at discounted msrp. No low apr or so on.
Should I stop looking and wait? By the looks of it, I am going to end up spending close to 50k for a Maverick after all the fees and tax and so on.
Times have changed. If used vehicles are not available and your afraid to spend 25K for one that might have a unknown history, you have no choice but to buy new. Waiting around for prices to drop, I don't think so. Everything has gone up in the last year wether we like it or not. A few years ago, you could live on 65K a year very comfortable, now now it takes 85K or more!I posted a while back about taking the Mav to get a keypad installed (fail!) and looking at the new pickups "on sale" with employee pricing; there were many that were over $100k. It was shocking at the time, now I'm just nonplussed at new vehicle pricing. People actually buy these.
