When I look in the service procedures in Forscan, I don't see the "Clear Transmission Adaptive Tables" that I've seen on other Ford models when watching YouTube videos. I do see a "Reset All Adaptations" procedure for the PCM, is that what I need to do to clear the adaptive learning?

With the ignition ON, engine OFF, you can floor the brake and throttle simultaneously to do the reset. The check engine light will blink about 10 times. Once it stops, turn ignition off, open and close door twice, then start it up and drive.

Interesting. I haven't heard of that procedure but I might try it. Thanks.

How to Enter Brake Maintenance Mode
This is another "pedal dance," but it’s a bit more rhythmic than the oil reset:
Ignition ON: Press the Start button (Engine OFF).
Accelerator: Press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and hold it.
Parking Brake Switch: Push the Electronic Parking Brake (EPB) switch DOWN (the "Release" position) and hold it.
Ignition OFF then ON: While holding both the pedal and the switch, turn the ignition OFF and then back ON within 5 seconds.
The Result: You will hear the rear brake motors humming as they retract. A message will appear on your dash: "Brake Maintenance Mode."

How to Exit Maintenance Mode
Once you’ve finished swapping the pads and have everything bolted back together, you must take it out of this mode before driving:
Ignition ON: Press the Start button (Engine OFF).
Accelerator: Press the accelerator pedal all the way to the floor and hold it.
Parking Brake Switch: Pull the EPB switch UP (the "Apply" position) and hold it.
Ignition OFF then ON: While holding both, turn the ignition OFF and then back ON within 5 seconds.
The Result: You’ll hear the motors move back to the normal position, and the dash message will disappear.

Looking at the procedures for going in and out of the different modes I swear some of these engineers were obsesses with the old Contra game (Konami Code...)

What does this do exactly and when would you want to do it?
