I have a 2024 Maverick Hybrid XLT with the XLT Luxury Package. According to what I can find on the internet, from Ford, I should have wireless charging via the Qi standard. However, as most of you know, this doesn't seem to be true. The owner's manual has information on the wireless charging pad, but does not seem to mention that this function is limited to certain trim packages or models.

I will learn to deal without this, however, I would like Ford to acknowledge this and correct this moving forward. It may be available on all models and trim levels for the 2025 model year, but for those of us with earlier models that does us no good. So please correct what Ford supplies as answers to internet searches.

If anyone has any corrections to this, please let me know. My local Ford dealer was useless when I ask this question to them.

Thanks

Not sure what you found on the internet, but I found this. It’s from Ford. And for a 2024 Hybrid…

You don’t have it.

I also have a 2024 hybrid XLT with lux, bap. You can quit worrying about the wireless charging, you don't have it. Sorry.
Mine does not but my phone is not compatible with it anyway.

You may be correct, however, stating in the advertisement for all models of the 2024 Maverick that wireless charging is available, and only stating that the Lariat model is shown is a bit misleading isn't it? Why not state that it is only available in the Lariat model rather than "Lariat model shown...

There were reports that Ford ad copy stated the 2025 Maverick Lariat had heated rear seats.
That was wrong.
Quite possibly wireless charging was intended for all the XLT's but supply chain shortages limited it to Lariats.
Mavericks I forget what trim level we're supposed to have 4G Wi-Fi hotspots too. That ended up being a $10 credit, because it was deleted.
Remember the words in most automotive advertising Product Subject to Change.

Do you think this site is run by Ford?
That could explain a bit.

And here I still don't have Navigation in my 2022 Maverick, not that I would use it over Android Auto.

I believe there is an aftermarket plug-in wireless Qi charger for the Maverick without wireless charging. FYI- there is also an free market “wireless” connector for apply CarPlay.

I refuse to use the wireless charging pad as it makes the phone very hot. I'm always plugged in to use AA and set the charge to 80%.

My ’24 Lariat has wireless charging and I love it.
No annoying cable to connect.
It also warms my phone up nicely so when I get out of my truck on cold days and drop the phone in my hip pocket, it acts as a bun warmer.

OP - don't despair, as the factory wireless charger is useless, anyway. I've owned 2 lariats and even with no case at all, it won't charge enough to even hold the battery % you start with, it just slows the drain a little bit. It's possible that this is better in MY25, but I wouldn't hold my breath - my '22 Bronco with Sync4 has a wireless charging pad that is just as ineffective as my Maverick.

this is especially true if you're using a wireless carplay / android auto dongle. (if you're wired, obviously, you don't need to wirelessly charge.)

if you need wireless charging, I'd search to see what others have done. Also I would not go cheap, there was a guy a few years ago who had a chinese wireless charging pad catch fire and burned his center console - he was lucky it didn't spread and burn the whole interior. (I thought I saved a pic of his fb post, but I can't find it. Trust me, it happened.)

It’s standard in the 24 Lariat but I don’t use it because my phone gets extremely hot when on the charger pad. The dealer had no idea so I just don’t use it and use the charger cable.
