Any turn of events that puts us back to having cars sitting on dealer lots at a discount is a good thing. The past couple of years have been ridiculous and it's time to have prices come back down to earth.
don't hold your breath on that happening with Mavericks. the average and underperforming car brands and models are already there, but I think it'll be a long time before Mavericks get there.

the first stage of that type of inventory position will be dealers that are sitting on inventory of Mavericks will sell them to dealers that are still moving trucks. this happens less these days because consumers can easily search on their own and find what they want and call the dealership that is holding the stale inventory.

Dealers are getting active stock of EB. I have yet to see a hybrid stock (not a passed over retail).

Instead of adding features each year they have been removing features and raising the price each year...

I reordered my 2023-2024. If Fords promised buyer protection does not cover the full difference I will walk away from the order though. I'm not paying an additional $4500 for nothing.

I certainly feel not having a base Lariat is going to lower demand on the Lariat. There is a BIG difference in price between my MY 23 Lariat hybrid and the MY 24 Lariat hybrid.

I'd be willing to bet that was gerald jones....I lived in Augusta for 3 years. Service dpt was decent, sales quite sketchy.

what exactly did you order, $4500 is a lot. sounds like you might have had a '23 lariat non-lux or XLT non-lux with BAP.

no one will really know until they get their private offer, but based on the verbiage Ford used initially, I think the offer could be on the trim level only. so if the XLT hybrid increased $1,500 or whatever, that might be your offer.

I don't think it will be much. I think Ford was seeing a ton of people ordering the Lariat with the Lux already so it makes sense to just offer the one all-inclusive package.

My main sales rep at my local Ford dealership told me that she’s only had 7 orders so far. Last year they 60 in the same time period. This is the entire dealership, 7 orders. I know it’s antidotal but that’s pretty shocking. What are you all seeing?
DEATH of a Company...get sales down to where you can handle them!!

"De-contenting" is common in all brands after the first year. They remove what they can get away with. And of course everyone is raising prices on everything now. With inflation how could they afford not to? Which of course leads to more inflation.

My local dealer had 47 allocations and were almost full the morning orders opened. Maybe some areas are different
This good point some dealer will have lot some will not have as much. We gotta remember every dealer has different sales volume etc

Yes I'm sure there were many more Lux orders but every thing adds up to overall lower demand. I just think they should have done a cold weather package for the heated options. If I were ordering a MY 24 I would opt out of that, living in AZ.
