  1. Maverick Main Commit Scheduling This Week (9/21/23) for Production Weeks 11/06 - 11/27

It's not a fun game and It's not right that it's gotten this complicated. It's our current reality, and what you have to deal with to order a new car. It's across the board. Go to the mustang forums, the bronco forums, the raptor forums, the tacoma forums, the civic forums. It's all the same...
  2. 9/14/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

How do you confirm via chat? And for those who confirmed via chat, I'm assuming an email/text follow later?
  3. 9/14/23 Scheduling Email Received Group [EMAILS NOW ARRIVING!]

Will they send notification for all vehicles scheduled through November today? Or do they just start today?
  4. 2024 Maverick First Scheduling This Week (8/24/23)! For Production Weeks 10/16-10/30

So you got no text or email, but you messaged ford and got that? Did your salesman not let you know either?
  5. Was my Maverick sold out from under me despite my order?

....Right. If it came to that...pretty sure everyone here would hope you wouldn't ruin your life for $500 and disappointment about the maverick.
  6. Was my Maverick sold out from under me despite my order?

Or maybe see what stock they have/are in transit and push them for below MSRP on one of those (if OP likes any of the specs). Could look within all of long lewis, not just the hoover inventory.
  7. Was my Maverick sold out from under me despite my order?

I have a document titled a custom retail order agreement from them. It states you have 3 days to complete the purchase of the vehicle after you've been contacted that it arrives. It specifically said who would contact me. If you don't purchase after those 3 days post-contact are up, they can...
  8. Was my Maverick sold out from under me despite my order?

I looked around for a bit before deciding on placing my 24 order with them. A little concerning you're having this issue. They have a good track record. Hopefully you still get your truck.
  9. 2024 Maverick First Scheduling This Week (8/24/23)! For Production Weeks 10/16-10/30

Does this mean that on Thursday, the first MY24s orderers picked up will get emails with their scheduled date? Will emails for all vehicles scheduled 10/16-10/30 go out on Thursday, or do they just start going out?
  10. How rough is your current vehicle?

SAME. 06 Civic, 220Kish. Got some shaking over 80MPH. My AC is limping. If I drive for more than 30 minutes and it's over 95F, it stops blowing cold. Just gotta make it another 2-3 weeks probably til temps don't get that high, and hope nothing major breaks before the truck shows up. 🤞
  11. 2024 Maverick Orders Now Being Prioritized - Contact Ford Chat to check

Do we know how the MY24 allocations are given? Do the dealers have all of their allocations now? Do they have their allocations for the first month that 24s go into production?
  12. What? Not a member of the MTC😱

Anecdotal, but Friday afternoon I saw FOUR mavericks on my 30 mile drive home. They were all outside of the two that live in the little 5 mile radius of our house. I will say that out of all the ones I've seen, roughly 1/3 are clearly XL work trucks (company logo apparent). Forum dwellers...
  13. Age of targeted Maverick Buyer

    34. Might get it before 35 (May), but I'm not counting on it :ROFLMAO:
  14. Upgrades Completed

Didn't know Nissan made a Maverick! Only teasing. Nothing else is similar about the rear. Tail lights, shape of the bumper, all different. It's also a whole different category of truck. It goes really well with the other trim on the white truck.
  15. Maverick Paint sucks.

I could see that. The bulk of the cost is in the labor hours for the paint correction. In general, a new car should have less imperfections than one that's been driven for 3 months. Really depends on whether the owner let the dealer give it the ol scratch and swirl special.
  16. Maverick Paint sucks.

It's a protectant layer. Anything that would have sat on your paint (tree sap, plant fallout, rail dust, bird poo, etc.) will instead sit on the ceramic coating. It would do nothing for rock chips. That would be paint protection film, or ppf. You did not make a mistake by opting out. You...
  17. To BAP or not to BAP

    Also a good point
  18. To BAP or not to BAP

I was so sad cyber orange was dropped. Saw a mav in person with it and it’s so nice. Enjoy!
