You can only remote start twice before needing to do a regular start.

The owner's manual should have a section about long term storage.
People typically disconnect the battery and/or put it on a trickle charger.

Why would you want to stop the system from saving the battery so it has the best chance of being available to start the truck when you get back?

Or what do you imagine battery saving mode to mean?

Way too fun nay~~~~
Us Mav guys got it bad.

I thought I was bad seeing how far across the Walmart Supercenter parking lot I could be from my Mav and still start it with the Key Fob.
With all those other cars around about
100-125 yards.

Out in the open, no obstructions,
About 175-200 yards.

What ?
I’m retired, I just do things.

Battery saving should be renamed "life support for a dying vehicle".

This fellow Maverick owner expresses the same frustration as thousands of other owners:

It's becoming obvious that Ford has no intention of solving the underlying problems.

He missed some basic info that could easily have been found.
He kept thinking the voltage dropped below 9.5 - all it would take was a multi-meter to prove that's not it.
He missed an SSM that gave the 3rd criteria, and what DSM exactly does.
He missed fuse idea to disable the modem.

He had good points about what to do.
And organizing people.
Mainly they need to stop talking about DSM being the issue, since that is an effect.
They need to report undercharging issue - not bad battery (that's an effect too), not parasitic draw (since not intermittent and not fast), not too small a battery (since it doesn't take much).

I believe mine is on the cusp of losing it - when I take it in, and request the ACCM update, I'm going to request they describe it as it is.
And tell them I've got log files from day 1 of the new battery that shows it was undercharged constantly - unless they really want to tell me I should be driving upwards of 2 hrs daily, in which case I want that shown on the work-order if it comes from Ford.

There are those whose Mavericks have the problem and those whose Mavericks will have the problem. Then there are those that are in denial that their Mavericks have the problem.

Hmmm I'm not sure where I fit Into your reality. I think I'm in the, 'Will have" Category, but !

I'm In denial on whether or not I've actually grown up, yet.
SO !

I'll not let it bother me one way or the other. I'll just buy that Wally world AGM with the four year full replacement warranty and Fagetaboutit.

It's good to always have a backup plan.

The dealership got zero guidance from Ford and is as frustrated as all of the owners they told me are having the same problem but the dealer has nothing to offer other than providing a free replacement of the FLA with the factory Motorcraft AGM battery that Ford has shipped in 2025 and 2026 models. At least we have a good dealership that is trying to make things right, but Ford corporate doesn't seem to acknowledge the problem since their concern is apparently all in new car sales and not customer satisfaction. By the way, the AGM doesn't stop the two main problems with the hybrid Maverick: chronic undercharging and multiple unexplainable discharging.
