Why would you want to stop the system from saving the battery so it has the best chance of being available to start the truck when you get back?Has anyone used remote start to keep from going into battery saving mode, when out of town.
There are those whose Mavericks have the problem and those whose Mavericks will have the problem. Then there are those that are in denial that their Mavericks have the problem. Thanks for the info, I didn't try the remote start, had no problems.
Hmmm I'm not sure where I fit Into your reality. I think I'm in the, 'Will have" Category, but !There are those whose Mavericks have the problem and those whose Mavericks will have the problem. Then there are those that are in denial that their Mavericks have the problem.
The dealership got zero guidance from Ford and is as frustrated as all of the owners they told me are having the same problem but the dealer has nothing to offer other than providing a free replacement of the FLA with the factory Motorcraft AGM battery that Ford has shipped in 2025 and 2026 models. At least we have a good dealership that is trying to make things right, but Ford corporate doesn't seem to acknowledge the problem since their concern is apparently all in new car sales and not customer satisfaction. By the way, the AGM doesn't stop the two main problems with the hybrid Maverick: chronic undercharging and multiple unexplainable discharging.Hmmm I'm not sure where I fit Into your reality. I think I'm in the, 'Will have" Category, but !
I'm In denial on whether or not I've actually grown up, yet.
SO !
I'll not let it bother me one way or the other. I'll just buy that Wally world AGM with the four year full replacement warranty and Fagetaboutit.
It's good to always have a backup plan.
