Has anyone else seen this? I only remote started once. Saw this when I tried to remote start a second time.

Not after just 1 remote start, no.

May have been an issue that didn't allow more.

Remote Start Limitations

Remote start does not work under the following conditions:
  • The alarm horn is sounding.
  • The hood is open.
  • The transmission is not in park (P).
  • The ignition is on.
  • The battery voltage is below the minimum operating voltage.
  • Remote start is not enabled.
Note: Do not use remote start if the fuel level is low.

yeah it only lets you remote start a couple times (i think its 2 or 3x) without actually driving it before you have to physically go in the car. After you drive it, the counter resets.
So you remote started it, it ran for 15 min, then you remote started it again? Must be lots of snow where you are at?

Some people will remote start their vehicles if they are out of town. As I've stated before, the worst thing I ever did to my last car was to start working from home. I now intentionally drive my Maverick at least once a week to keep it healthy. My father has "truck Thursdays" for his 1994 F-150 for the same reason.

Ah, to charge the battery, good to know.

I actually remote started it and let it run for 30 min each time. ;) but it was once a week until I hit that limiter.

I have a work truck I use. I bought the maverick in May, and I'm still just under 1k miles. I was hoping I could just remote start it 1x a week while it sits to get the fluids circulated.

No snow yet, but don't you tempt fate for me. Last winter was pretty brutal though, -20*'s on the regular, and my snow shovel was kept outside for easy access.

Edit: also if anyone else was racking their brain with how to remote start from the key fob, you have to hit the lock button and then 2x the remote start button, it won't work just double tapping the remote start button on the key by itself, at least not on my 25.

I’ve had about ten in my life. My current greyhound is 13 and going strong
🍻 to many more years and greyhounds!

She's a roommates dog before I moved out, but I still occasionally take her to the dog park. Before her I've never even seen a greyhound in real life, and now it would be a dog I would happily have.

No. I was reading another post about being able to adjust climate control using the ford pass app. I remote started my Maverick to see if that was available. It was not. I Did a remote shut down and attempted to remote start a second time to see if it might have been a glitch in the app and got that limit message.

Yes. It reset. I just didn’t know there was a limit. Especially a limit of one remote start.

Probably a limit of 1 remote start when you purposely turn it off during that remote start.

You let it run out, or use option to extend it, probably would work like it does for rest of us - not limited to one.
