Is there anyway to increase the remote start to more then 30? For days when it’s cold as hell and you get sidetracked doing things

1. From the settings menu, press Vehicle. 2. Press Remote Start Setup. You can adjust the following in the remote start settings menu: • Enable or disable remote start. • Climate control settings. • Heated seat settings. • Heated steering wheel settings. • Remote start duration.

I do not know how to increase the range of remote start on your key fob but mine functions from about 80 feet away and through a wall.

Have you tried using remote start from the Ford Pass app, installed on your cell phone, if able?
I am referring to the duration of more than 30 minutes because in the app it’s a 30 minute max

No, I have started it when it was pretty cold (-19F, or about -27C), and it was nice an warm in about 5 minutes.
If you are worried about the engine, I'd rather use a block heater than having it run for 30 minutes or more.

Block heater FTW. Just program it 3 hours before and the truck is warm in minutes.
Do you mean use a programmable outdoor timer? I am pretty sure you can't program it in the vehicle itself... Or can you?

I don't think you can increase the duration of warm up time. Can remote start twice and each one can go 15 minutes.

I hit first it when I think I'm leaving in 10 minutes. If I get hung up I just hit it the 2nd time when I'm finally heading out the door, since the the engine is already warmed up from the first go.

Idling for long periods is often mentioned as not great for engines, so I try not to idle more than necessary.

yes. plug the engine block heater into a timer, you're going to have to un-plug the cord to drive away anyway..
