Remote start stopped working

A week ago my remote start stopped working. All other function on the Ford Pass app work except for that. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Yeah that's kinda the MO of the FordPass app. When it works it works great but then out of know where it just doesn't. I've had the same issues on my Maverick and Mach-E.

Have you tried the usual suspects like restarting your phone, checking for updates for the app, resetting the infotainment system?

Can’t help with the app, but if you want one that will work for at least 10 + years then go with any compustar product.

That's kinda what I said when Ford asked me in a survey why I don't use App anymore. My reply, It doesn't work most of the time! Nevermind the constant Deep Sleep alerts saying a lot of functions would not work.

There is an aftermarket option that simply uses the lock/unlock buttons to do remote start. The installation is very simple, and takes about 5-10 mins total for the install. It responds to outside temperature variations and adjusts the HVAC accordingly. And yes I have installed this on my 23 XLT and it works beautifully.

Is it the scheduled start? Mine stopped working, I went in and deleted them and set them back up and they have worked again without issue for a few months.

If you have any vehicle alerts in the Ford Pass App, remote start is disabled. Try clearing any alerts in the app. Mine did this once and clearing the alert solved it. Remote start apparently doesn't work when you have MIL (check engine light) or alerts in the app.

I got the remote start to work by disconnecting the battery for a few minutes. Thanks all for your suggestions.

According to the manufacturer Start-X's website this kit fits Hybrid key and keyless start Maverick. Start-X directs buyers to Amazon to purchase the kit. I've added it to my Amazon wish list for the hopeful day I receive my Mav.

Yeah just makes me apprehensive that the Amazon description says not for hybrids with stop signs. But I see what you're saying
