40 years!! That is truly amazing that it hasn’t disintegrated or at least split apart after so long!
When the cork dried out on the flexible metal spout on this can.
It started to leak and the gas would stay along the raised ridge and stink up the garage. I didn't have the green thing at the end of the spout.

I replaced it with the plastic one pictured and then ended up replacing the can that was back in the '80s.

What, you've never heard of No-Spill Jill?

I'm not getting into my truck bed box right now because I just closed it up - but that sure looks like the nozzle on the can I thought I overpaid for at Ace Hardware - even with my coupon.
If that's really it - I don't feel so bad.

That's much nicer than the annoyance I was planning on dealing with when I had to use it.
May even work well with the funnel!

ETA: Just noticed the license plate in their video is from KS and my county.
Found address - I've ridden my bike past their place frequently enough. No wonder at local Ace Hardware - whose main offices are just down the street.

That looks useful for small tank on top outboards... those are what I have most trouble getting gas in.

I bought this thing called a Flo-N-go when it was on sale, which I thought was a hand lift pump, no, it's just a valve on a syphon, have to have your can way high.

At my age, I have trouble getting my can high.

Yeah the package is real misleading, trumpeting "No lifting" all over it, well, it ain't flowing your gas if the can is on the ground. Well, unless you dig a pit to climb down into.

To be honest, I've modded mine a bit. I think the regulations have caused them to increase the spring pressure for the button (in order to hold more pressure) , so I've taken the valve apart and installed a softer spring, so that it's not so uncomfortable to hold the button in while pouring. But, YMMV.

they should give you one, did you check UNDER the back seat? one of mine was there and one in the glove box. I use it quite a bit, as I play the Kroger fuel points game and only buy 35 gallon of gas at a time. So the trucks get filled up with gas cans quite often. I do think calling it a funnel is wrong, as it's barely large enough to pour fuel into. I use one of these:

I’m surprised how many people found theirs in random spots 😂

Mine didn’t come with one at all (or the dealer “misplaced” it), so I’m definitely checking the glove box and under the back seat now. If it’s not there, I’m doing exactly what you said taking the manual to the dealer and making them hand me the funnel it should’ve come with.

These things really shouldn’t be this hard to find for something you only need during emergencies!
Yes I had replied to the dealers Merry Christmas email ,and today he replied that they had the missing funnel waiting for me.. It sure is small. Similar to what some women use to pee standing up.

over a year on the first 2, then I started taking them out after I use it and leaving them in the box. coming up on 3 years with this set, but I can tell they do need replaced, it's not pumping as fast as normal.

I got lucky I've had this one for 40 years.
I had one of those steel bendy ones before that.
I don't think they sell these.

Tell me she didn't place a fuel jug inside her SUV, where the people ride. I pray she at least belted it in place.
