sounds like hardly any line-x dealers are under $500 these days.
In 2003 I had Line X do my 2000 Ranger 6 foot box, and it was $500 back then. It was the black version, but the colored option was just starting.

I know this has definitely been covered in here, but I’m looking for some RECENT quotes y’all have received for spray in bed liner.

Line-X just quoted me $715 and I nearly spit out my drink. Inflation??
I purchased the "standard" black LineX. I showed the LineX shop that Ford charges $495 as a stand alone option and asked if he would match that if I paid cash and he did. Plus LineX sprayed more of the tailgate and below the rear window which Ford does not do. Since I actually haul stuff, I didn't want to pay extra for a color. Black is good enough for me.

Almost all of the Line-X Shops are a Franchise SO you can usually ask for a discount. Something that might cause a stir in the Line-X Local Markets is Line-X is in the process of trying to change the Contracts of the franchise owners that might cause a lot of locations to drop Line-X. Issues are no compete clauses in old Franchise agreement.

Yes, that is why I opted to use my Ford Pass points and get a modular drop in for $150.00. The quote for a LineX for my was $650.00. Ridiculous.

I would advise getting a couple cans of Fluid Film to undercoat and lubricate the bed before installing the modular bed liner. Other than that, not other expenses if you do it yourself.

The former Line-X shop in my town charges the same as when they were still Line-X. $525 for the regular one, and $675 with the UV coating. Since there is no longer the coast to coast Line-X lifetime warranty, and they are no longer paying the expensive Line-X franchise fee, seems to me that they should have cut the price.

Their one competitor was a Bullet Liner franchise, and they also dropped their branding a while back. Based on social media posts, the owner’s son is a bit of a nut job (and he works there), so I’m not touching that shop.
