A non-unibody truck has a nice big gap between the bed and cab that they drop a curtain down so they don’t have to tape off the cab. With the Mav there is no gap, so everything has to be taped to prevent overspray. Thus more labor and materials. It’s not really cheaper because it’s smaller. That’s how it was explained to me anyway, and it does sound reasonable vs. some of the BS I’ve been told.this is super helpful, appreciate the insight.
