Love it other than the constant struggle with a dead 12v battery and now this!
No dead battery here either, but only 2 days in 10 months it wasn't driven.

All the recalls done on mine, no problems whatsoever. Are the issues primarily with the Hybrid trucks?

OP, you really need a non-Ford AGM battery to replace your defective, undersized Ford battery. Some Mav owners have found success for their "dead" Mav.

My 2022 Hybrid goes in tomorrow morning, i had and Oil Change, tire rotate and the Fire recall done, BCM software update, taillight update, they didn't do the gauge cluster recall for some reason. 8 days later when i tried to engage cruise control, nothing. All buttons and switches on the steering wheel are inoperable except the "OK" button to reset the trips. The button only works every time I start up though. The dealer claims its not related to their recall work they think its the clock spring or something else? They need it for the day and are hoping a loaner comes back in the morning or I'm SOL. On the oil change they overfilled it, couldn't tell me if i got full synthetic (service manager said he believes all OW-20 oil is full synthetic and it IS NOT, all mfrs make OW-20 in Semi Synthetic, yikes). they stripped out five of the splash guard clips by tightening with the impact and cranked the oil filter down so it is approx. 1/64 from bottoming out on the machined surface. This dealership has always been great but i think I'm doing my own oil changes from here on out.

Been planning on getting one soon even before this new issue. No clue if the two issues are related.

I feel you GhostMav. My thinking is even if the did the recall after the specified time, there is a certain way it had to be done in order for it to be effective. I recall reading about it in here. I wish I could give you the reference.

That's what I've been hearing as well. Tow truck just picked it up to take it to the dealership and it'll get looked at in the morning. I'll post updates here if there are any.

JFC Ford, figure your shit out. I love this thing, and mine has been great this far. But man, I can't ignore the recalls forever, that can cause its own issues. But I also can't get the recalls done, because that can cause its own issues.

Some days it feels like we're on the Titanic, but the officers keep cutting holes in the lifeboats. I can't stay on the Titanic, and I can't get in the lifeboat.

I have had all recalls done and have not experience any issues. Is it possible that the dealer is not performing the software updates correctly?

I am still waiting for the list of all the updates that were done, but it took 3.5hrs at the dealership. I know the two taillights and a telematics reprogram was done, and zero issues so far, including the deep sleep issue gone, although it has only been two weeks. I was going to defer having the recalls done but then I started getting notices from my auto insurance company that I had open recalls, twice. They even notified me my 27 year old Ranger still had an ancient recall notice open.

Just wanted to let everyone know that the recalls that were supposedly updated to no longer cause trucks to go into limp mode are indeed still causing trucks to go into limp mode. I posted here a few weeks ago about being hesitant to let my dealer do all of the recalls because of all of the trucks having issues after them. Everyone here assured me Ford had fixed the issue with those updates so I went ahead and did them.

Lo and behold a few weeks later it happened to me. Never happened before getting these software recalls done. Now I'm without a truck once again and cannot get to work. Again. If I had any money saved up to get another vehicle after selling this one it would be gone to Carmax next week. I'm done with Ford.
I am knocking on wood as I type this. I have two Mavricks, my wifes 2022 lariat and my 2024 lariat. I have had no reason to take the 2024 in to the dealer yet in the 4 months that I have owned it. I have taken the wifes in for every re-call that has been issued. All the reprogramings have gone great with no problems. I was having the deep sleep issue and all they did was a reporgramming of the modules and the issue right now has not returned three months later.

I have had no problems with my MY24 Hybrid and don't plan on any recall updates anytime soon. If it taint broke, no need to fix it.
Kind of my thinking. My 2022 has ran great for 27,000 miles. I've got 4 outstanding recalls, Not including the failed butcher job of a first engine recall.
Very hesitant to let them touch my truck.

I need to find out if this second engine recall is required for some type of extended warranty on the engine, not sure if I read that somewhere or not.

I have also had no recall issues. Only issue I had was Ford's latest FordPass app update didn't play nice with the last Sync version and I was forced to update it manually.
I had to do the same thing. Worked great though, so no complaints here..
