I checked my VIN and no current recalls (not fixed) listed for my 25 ECO Maverick.

I just checked my Ford app and I have this recall showing for my 25 Hybrid... I wonder if this is the AWD update for the 25 Hybrids. Ford did say they would be pushing an update out to make it act the same as the 26 AWD system.

That wouldn't be a recall though - not a safety item.
Just a good ole software update.

But good point anyway - would someone notice when it was applied to inform others it's available?
And would the notice there was an update state enough details to figure out that's what it is?
Generic PCM update occurred will be about worthless.

Ford's update notes are generally worthless, especially if it's not for fixing some obvious issue.

In this case the NHTSA is worthless also, unless it will really only show up under a VIN, not generic model year.

And true Ford's online notes worthless.
Though it does seem to be 25 only.

my ford pass app shows i need the 26e04 recall. Great that this is a software update.

i hope it goes as well as the Trailer Module Recall software update....that was 100% OTA. i woke up in the morning and the Trailer recall was complete. Best Recall Ever.

25 Hybrid. I have it too, but it's not something I'll worry about.
