How can you tell if you have the transmission cooler??

According to Google search:
You should see hoses (coolant lines) that run from the transmission to the main radiator or a separate, smaller transmission oil cooler located in front

You can easily see the 2 lines running around the left side of the radiator.

My recalled Lobo has those same hoses. I think most (all?) EB’s do?

But I thought the Lobo has a more robust transmission cooler? Do the other end of those hoses connect to a different cooler?

My build date was 3/25/2025, so i thought for sure mine was in the recall, but it does not show up when I entered my VIN on the Ford website. I still wanted to check, and someone posted the part number of the correct radiator, and mine matches that as seen in post 94 above, so I'm hoping it's the correct one?

I think you have the correct 4K towing package - but those hoses you pictured are not conclusive evidence since we all have them….even 2K folks.

Ok - the base Lobo does not have an “upgraded” transmission cooler.

It does have the larger radiator & fan.

Below are the part# for the standard trans cooler ( -A $131) and the tow package trans cooler ( -B $110).

Base Lobo has the -A….

I read & watched those same reviews claiming the upgraded trans cooler. Now I’m beginning to think they were wrong/misled similar to the 238hp snafu.

Seems both Base & High Lobos got the larger radiator/fan. High Lobo also got Trailer Assist.

But neither got the 4k trans cooler despite the many reviews saying it did? Confusing.

I saw this when I was looking on my Ford profile the other day..and wondered why.

How did they even get it that wrong? (install wrong parts)
Supply issue? And they just sent it with the wrong but available parts instead? and didn't say anything, until they had the parts available?

I really don't look forward to having them pull my front end and all related parts off, and reinstall...and hopefully not make it worse...make a mess of something else, damage something along the way..waste my time without a vehicle for however many days/week it takes.
Who compensates me for such a big mess.

Most of us here are still waiting for parts to arrive or arranging the schedule for swap. I’m actually glad you went first - going to trust your experience as accurate!

I think I'm going to do what someone else mentioned prior and wait until next year to do this. Once the dealerships have had more experience with this recall, and the parts are more readily avaliable. Well, hopefully. I just know I don't want my Lobo being the guinea pig for these techs to learn on right now. The standard cooling system that comes on the 2.0 should be more than sufficient anyway, but I understand the desire to get the parts that we rightfully paid for.
