I think swapping out the radiator & fan will be minor surgery? Disconnect a few hoses, loosen a few bolts, swap, retighten & reconnect & refill.

We have until next August to get it done. I may wait until next July & get the fresh coolant then. Or combine the service with the next recall that will certainly come.
If the engine rad includes the trans cooler they have to drain that too. I couldn't tell looking at my truck.

Many thanks to Tbone & Chops: looks like my LOBO has the trans coolant lines.
I take it that you only get the trans cooler when you have the larger rad. Probably why it wasn't listed in the recall.
Build date: 25 FEB25

2025 Lobo build date 3/25

I trust the assembly line workers in Hermosillo to install & connect the 4K tow package radiator & fan & etc on the Lobo - they have done 1000’s (and 756 with 2K oops).

But I’m getting nervous about the service tech at my local dealer to correctly swap out the 2k tow parts for the 4k parts. On a Lobo. Their first time doing it. On my Lobo.

I’m getting a call this week to schedule the work along with a loaner since I’ll need to leave my truck. It is a multi $1000 job that I already paid for with the purchase of the truck.

Would it be smart or dumb to reschedule out a while - wait for other Lobo’s to have the work done & document any issues they’ve had?

Should I wait or should I go?

Have mine scheduled September 8th. It looks to be a straight forward job.

Does anyone know the thickness of the actual 4k tow radiator? I called the dealership to set up an appointment to get the recall done but they said mine vin isn't listed for it even though it was a February build. Also if your Lobo has the correct fan if you could get the part number off the top right corner of the assembly.

Could you post a pic of your part#? I could not find any Part# except on on center of fan assy - and could not get close enough to focus without dropping my phone into engine bay.

Although I AM on the vin recall list (wherever that is). But I decided I’m going to wait until next year when the new truck smell is long gone, have my first few scratches, and the coolant replacement a bit more beneficial.

Part number on mine is LX61-8C607-BC. Its on the upper right hand corner below the air intake. Can't get my phone at a good enough angle.

Thanks found it - remember I am on the recall list, so my part# would be the standard 2K part.

Yes! I have a build date of 3/25/2025, so I figured my Lobo would be included, but I never received a letter and my fan has the LX61-8C607-BC number. I feel like i won the lottery.
