Depending on which map I have selected, I get a dong when approaching a school zone.

I get a “click” sound every drive as the doors auto lock. About 30 seconds after driving. Probably a setting. If there is a dong alert for that - I would have turned it off.

Mav is my First vehicle with the "Auto-Lock" feature.. I looked it up.

Doors will lock, at reaching 12 mph..
IT Also, LOCKS! when you leave the vehicle, door closed and running.. Was reminded of this, this morning...
Good Thing, that I have the habit of leaving the driver's window down...

Yes, a “dong” sound, not a “ding” and it’s just once everytime I start one and always just a few minutes of driving.

It's Bell Physics.

Whether a little bell or a great church bell, it can only Ding once until reset by a Dong.

It beats the old Chrysler version, though.

I had the whole car unlocked and the engine running while loading into the back. In a blizzard.

I closed the tailgate, and it responded by locking every single door.

We had to wait for Enterprise to come by with another key!

Not sure I would claim to have done my research prior then pop in here and complain about the vehicle you just purchased. And if you expect anyone's app to be compatible with every version of iOS you might have installed then you need to face reality. A new or recent iPad/iPhone oughta solve that problem. Or ditching your newly acquired vehicle and getting something else after performing exhaustive research regarding every concern you have. Also, RTFM. Good luck.
