Rear Spring Compatibility (Lobo/4K)

It could be, but the Tremor and Lobo have completely different springs so why would they both have the same lowered tow and payload? The only thing they have in common (which is different from other Mavericks) is the RDU

Because the Tremor has softer springs than the standard AWD as well. Many have commented about it riding softer.

I thought they ran a liquid cooled RDU and the twin clutch rear axle. Remembered that the RDU was what sent power to the rear after I started typing and just went with it.

Oh! I thought RDU was Ford-speak for the twin clutch torque vectoring rear differential I can see how my argument sounds totally wrong

Thanks for correcting me. What I meant to say is that maybe the lower payload & towing limit on Lobo & Tremor is because of the special rear differential that they both use

Maybe. I'm not much for the speculation game, as it always seems a waste of time. If I get some time, I'll look to see if the specs are available from Dana. I wouldn't know where to look up the spring rates, but they have an effect on payload and tongue weight ratings as well.

a few tremor owners have installed airbag helper springs to address the sag that you get in a tremor when you're heavily loaded.

I see no reason that wouldn't work for this mod, also. if you have installed lobo rear springs and you want to haul 1500 pounds, or tow 4k, might be a pretty good idea to get the airbags.

Absolutely. It would still be good to know if, for some reason, the twin clutch RDU had some limitations as well but it seems odd to me. The concern might be clutch pack wear.

Checked fine. Did not have to adjust anything

Did it change your driving confort or handling. Usualy they match the front and rear spring rates for better balance and manuverability

Depends on the dealer. I think I paid 150 for both springs

I did not notice any difference

it is hard to tell in the pic. The back is only 1” higher than the front now

I also do not like the raked look on these trucks. I’m a bigger fan of the level look but don’t want to chew up CVs just for a look. I was wondering if you could provide the part numbers for the LOBO springs. Appreciate it. Truck looks great
