Has anyone noticed the difference in how much louder the volume is with the radio when the vehicle starts than when Android Auto starts at a much lower volume? I have tried to search for options to get a base volume at max but have had no luck. The issue is when I turn off the car after listening to AA at normal volume then the next time I start my car the radio will start very loud. I know I can turn it down before I turn off my truck but its just a hassle to remember all the time. I do also wish my Android music could get to the levels that the radio stations seems to have.

Here is what has worked for me. After connecting Android Auto, do a "ok google" and while it is responding, adjust the volume. As long as AA is actively responding audibly, thats what you are adjusting.

I'll try this but I will also add there was one time I had maybe done something on accident like this and saw prompt volume while I was turning up the volume and it didnt change the media so I think it might have been chaning the assistant voice.

This would go for Google Maps etc. as well. what ever audio is actively being heard, that is what will be adjusted.

Has anyone else noticed that after the backup camera recall was done, the radio volume is a lot lower?

On 24MY hybrid using radio - just a bit difference, like what used to be a 9 level driving situation, now needs to be a 10 to be closer, and that is just a bit over what the 9 was.

I've noticed this as well. Had this same issue with the 2017 Focus ST I used to own. The volume once I plugged my phone in was like 4 "units" lower.

Also have noticed the EQing of the music isn't exactly the same. For this reason I try to avoid using AA because I prefer how my music sounds when just connected with Bluetooth, rather than AA.

I run my speed compensated volume level at the factory default.
My cabin is so quiet I think I would have noticed more volume at start up, I haven’t.

Will have to go back in and see it I set the speed volume compensation correctly as it does not seem to do anything (nor did it on my Escape). I have to turn up the volume one or two positions at Highway speeds...

I tried it and after saying OK Google and turning the volume knob it changes the assistant voice volume. That is good to know now because there were times it was too loud but my media volume is still lower than the radio. Maybe forescan can change things or at least set it to be a set volume every time I start the truck.

Then you need it set a bit higher.

My Eco (24) only has low, medium, and high, what is ‘factory default’? Oh, sorry, and ‘off’. 🤔

Found mine on medium. AT’s where I left it.
Turned it up just right when I get on a noisy interstate.
