Printed Service Manual ?

Does any have a line on getting a PRINTED Factory Service Manual for the Maverick?
I've had one for every car I've ever owned and figure why stop now.

Printed service manuals on modern vehicles tend to suck especially if you want actual diagnostic procedures for electronics and full wiring diagrams. In my experience Mitchell OnDemand usually has the actual Ford service information.

I WANTED one for my King Ranch 350 and was directed to Helms web site. The cost for printed was exceptionally high over $800 IIRC. There was a link to the on line version for a one time per search fee or a annual subscription. In the end, since I had a local Ford dealer that I knew the service manager personally, I would occasionally impose and ask to search and print from the service dept computer

Looks like I'll have to track down a cheap CD ROM drive, those are about as useful as a floppy disk...

Have not tackeled it yet but I hate PDF manuals with information that does not relate to my options...Maverick manual naturally covers Eco features if you have it or not, plus can be confusing ... so i download the PDF to a word processing program and delete all the text that does not apply to my vehicle options....also so much useless text in manuals....when edited I recreate a pdf file for Iphone and ipad. A 200 page manual can get down to 40-50 pages.... plus latest version of Adobe PDF reader can read the text verbally if you're driving. Edited versions loose the Table of Contents but you can still SEARCH for words.

And yes printed manuals can be $100+ .

somebody awhile back sent me a PDF of the Ford PTS pages that you get through the motorcraft website. It's about 13k pages long, but you can search by keyword.

Hayes/Chilton doesn't have one yet for the Maverick. Their online search engine ends at 2020.
