Tomorrow gotta get rear bumper cover off . And maybe do the hood struts and tailgate struts . Have had those for a few months .
also planning to pull the rear fender liners to look into pulling the rear bed sides out about 2”each side . Maybe some trimming .just don’t want to do any paintwork yet(outer body panel paint )

I will be copying all of this into my main hard drive. Very good mods and planning there.

I hope the administrator is putting all this in the super secure archives as well.

I think the already bulginess of the Mavericks front and rears are going to look really good bulged out even more. I can't wait to see what you do.

With more fender width maybe a solution for a lot more wheel travel can happen with an increased track width. Ya know one of the big things for making XJ, MJ, ZJ, WJs strong for serious duty is the chassis plating. It also something vehicles like the original Maverick had to do when trying to put big block power to get ground. A strengthened, long travel, tuned 2.3 swapped Maverick with beefed up shafts. Oh my this could be the start of something beautiful.

We're your trim lines for the pinch weld measured with the the wheel full cycled? Been thinking of doing the same mods since I order my tremor but just been waiting to pull the trigger on the lift and wheels until more info has surfaced. Great work! Can't wait to see it all done.

all This is a work in progress.will be needing additional clearance for a 33” .
the 32” rubs a little inboard of seem at big curve of the filler material right above rack area. Put 1 1/4” spacers on and the 32 “ rub on the outside sheet metal that I trimmed .
am going to look at making some plates to box in whole area of hollowness at bottom of footwell . Actually has a dead area with a vent hole here

I do have a scan coming up for fiberglass fenders and rear quarters . This will be after the holidays .
hopefully I can form a list of takers for some fiberglass.
I’m thinking +2 on opening and +3” for the bulge.
I also measured ,with a friend , for drop spacer kit in the area of 3” for complete front subframe and motor mounts , hopefully will be somewhere with this by 2nd week in January.
Gotta machine some spacers and order up some specialty bolts up.
This should eliminate the rubbing with the 32” , but still want the clearance for the 33’s.
Too wet here today to cut and patch some more . Plus got to rip into the 23’ hybrid to get parts on the way .

Going to post stock tires and stock Tremor suspension for sale .
I guess check the marketplace.

have to do additional brackets to get the chromoly arms in but here is droop on front . Should get a little more with new arms .

I will be posting as often as I can on this pre runner style build of my 23’ tremor . First I did a gr40 suspension kit from flat out suspensions.

Then I mounted up some 255/75/17 BFGoodrich mud terrains ( 32x10”)

Now the whole unit sits about 2 1/4 “taller at the wheel arch. Only 1 1/2” in rear.
going to order longer springs too to play more with height . Didn’t get the 3 1/2” I was looking for.

stance is not quite right. May go 11/2” wheel spacer until I can make some A arms.
next up is cutting the bumpers up and doing some tube bumpers with skid plates.
but first is relocating elm from lower federwell( worst ford placement ever )

it’s dark now so will do finish work tomorrow.


the best thing about the suspension kit is the rear went from 2 1/2 “ of suspension droop to 5”
will have to re cycle the front after I get new springs made .
biggest issue all around is the lower arm resistance on the front .I may go for a custom lower arm with a uniball or other joint layed sideways . The swaybar is also adding a large amount of compounded spring rate ,even with one side disconnected.( looking at modding apex disconnects or making my own)
i do have a set of stock tremor tires with 2000 miles for sale soon and the stock tremor shocks,springs and struts too.
in the east San Diego area.

This truck is for light playing in the anza Borrego desert area. I have a property at ocotillo wells ,across from the airport there by the off road park.
I do know it will never keep up with the serious desert machines but is also a good daily versus my buggy or full size broncos .

But we will see what the limits really are!

With the 32“ mud terrains down from 22.9 ( best I ever got ) to now 21.3 or so . Expect up to another 1/2 mpg loss after bumpers are added with new front skid.
still 4 or 5 better than my sons xterra , and faster,10 mpg better than the v12 twinturbski s600 and my full size bronco’s ,and about 8 better than the navigator.little bit less than the Mercedes wagon that’s getting right at 23 .
i also got a foot with a quickness addiction Though.😇

your engineering and fabrication skills are pretty amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if Ford engineers are watching this thread with interest.. and jealousy, lol.
