Wow you pushed the Limits.... Im Running 255/65/17s and I thought I had pushed it. I have no rubbing at all on the streets either. Havnt offroaded though

245/65R17 is the best tire size to fit in

The Hybrid is a V4?

The 2.0l is a 4 cylinder engine
The Tremor ain't need no hybrid engine

I was doing research on a front brush guard like that.

Data I found said putting a brush gard on a unibody is no help. It transfers all the impact energy directly into the unibody because it’s mounted to it.
The unibody has crush zones. It is more likely total the vehicle.

BUT !
My hit was at 6O-65 mph,
No paint or sheet metal damage.
total loss anyway.

It still pains me knowing my,
‘Tuff LOOKING’ little truck is so fragile.

But then again most of us know how safe it is during a hard crash.

I understand the concern with crush zones, however the more I can put between me and an animal...the better I feel. I just look at all the plastic and thin body panels...I also liked the added area to mount LED lights on the brush guard. I did stop short of adding a winch up front, but wired up a removable 5500 lb winch on a hitch mount for the rear.
