No. Mine happened 2 minutes after leaving the parking lot and traveling at ~40mph.For the people that are seeing this issue, has anyone noticed if it is happening when after driving a long distance in heavy head winds?

Thanks. Just a thought I had and now that you said that has debunked my thinking.No. Mine happened 2 minutes after leaving the parking lot and traveling at ~40mph.
When my truck first failed it was over 70 miles from home. After sitting for 2 hours I was able to drive it 40 miles just fine on the highway with the engine light on. I had it shut off a pitstop for about 5 minutes then drove another 30 miles home still with the engine line on. This was all on Saturday and I'm sure the 12v was nice and charged during this entire day. Didn't drive it again until Monday morning, taking my kid to the bus stop less than half a mile. Shut down for another 5 minutes then drove to daycare 3 miles away and shut off for 2 minutes there. The next start leaving daycare is when the engine light was gone.I would bet that 12v recharged enough so that startup test of sensors completed properly with passing voltages, etc AND enough no fault cycles occured to clear the problem has occured flag. Remember that driving in LOW will maximize Regen braking and also use the hydraulic brakes as needed. Think of it as computer controlled brake riding, being sold as a downhill coasting control but try it in stop and go traffic from 0 up to whatever mph you want. LOW also runs the ice much more as it rapidly fills the HVB to soc 70-72% and uses engine braking prior to using hydraulic brakes. Will not directly force more rapid 12v charging but can possibly reduce draw on 12v. A THOUGHT= Maybe when dealer hooks up computer to test truck and cannot replicate problem the 12v now has adequate soc OR the computer also places 12v on to bus! Shouldn't be that way but it's a logical possibility.
ALSO reduced power mode can be triggered by a low coolant fluid level (or possibly a bad sensor reading of it.). Maybe look at ice temp when truck gets the low power screen???
My mom had borrowed my truck and have driven about 70 miles 95% highway and likely around 75-80 mph and it then went into limp mode. She was able to get it off the highway and in gas station parking lot where I then meet her 2 hours later. The day before I had done an 80 mile round trip about 50% highway with zero issues. I also had gone over 100mph multiple times 4 days prior again with zero issues. For the people that are seeing this issue, has anyone noticed if it is happening when after driving a long distance in heavy head winds?
Your dealer should set you up with a paid for by Ford rental. Thats what they did for me.Oh yeah, please excuse me for being pissed off. But I just remembered I have also picked up the shudder/vibration engine problem since my truck was in for service.
It's done it about 5 times since March 1st (when the PCM recall was done) including today. Today's was shudder was insane. I was slowing for a red light and the engine shook the whole truck as it shut down. I just checked my online service history and it shows nothing has ever been done even though I have the printout from 10k service and recalls 23P18, 24C01, & 23C41. Online shows my recalls are still open also. Lastly I called my dealer and they have no loaners, not that I can't have one, they have zero period. I'm getting tired of Ford and super pissed that I didn't just do the damn oil change myself. We're going on a road trip for Spring Break next week and now I'm stuck renting a vehicle because I can't trust my 1 year old Maverick.

Just posting my experience so far w/ the software updates.Just a thought.... Has any anyone with this problem put the hybrid maverick into tow haul, sport, or low in standard, eco, or slippery to see if it changes anything...
Happened to me within a mile of leaving my home I was going about 20 mph slowing down when approaching a red traffic light.No. Mine happened 2 minutes after leaving the parking lot and traveling at ~40mph.
Exact symptoms experienced by my wife this evening while dropping off the neighbors kids! Good thing we live in a relatively quiet neighborhood but I'm livid!I joined the unfortunate club today. Had the software update done about 2 weeks ago. Lucky I was pulling out of a parking lot where there was no traffic.
never had a car drive like that before. First it lost power and wouldn’t accelerate. I pulled over and shut off the car. Turned it back on and headed back to where I came from. All the sudden it was accelerating without my foot on the gas. Bizzare.
had the code cleared by a friend and it’s been ok the last couple drives but I’m afraid to take it on the freeway.![]()

Just an update they were really fast on replacing the GSM module this time. I have been driving to and from work all week with no issues so far. Have not taken on a extended trip yet.So got my truck back on Monday afternoon after they replaced the GSM and the HVAC module. Drove to and from work a day and half and the second half after pulling out of the parking lot at work got a message Service engine soon with a wrench but not all the other bells and whistles like it was on the highway the first couple of times. Drove it to the dealership and said here you go. Kept it on when I pulled in to make sure they could pull all the codes that they needed instead of history. The code said GSM again so not sure where they are going with it this time.
