Installed a motor for the Manual Rear sliding window in my 2022 XLT. Wanted to use the OEM Switch as well. Was a fun project, quite the investigative project trying to find the right connectors for Everything.

-Purchased a Motor assembly with cables from a Lariat wreck for 150$

Mounted motor with Rivnut Inserts at existing location. Added 2 standalone 5 pin relays below the motor (also with Rivnuts) to stay with the schematic. I already have ran 0 gage wire for my Inverter behind the backseat so I stole power for the load side of the relays from there.

Purchased a switch bezel from a wrecked Lariat on ebay, found the correct 6 pin molex connector on mouser to interface with the rear sliding motor switch. Ran 2 twisted pair from the switch, Pin One power input (spliced into White/Blue wire out of Pin 2 on the C22BOF connector of the BCM) to stay with OEM schematic and wired a ground to pin 6 of the molex to provide ground for the backlit switch LED. Pins 2 and 3 was a twisted pair ran to the control side of the standalone relays in the back.

The Lariat Bezel had the push to start switch port, I used that space and added a 12 Volt Accesory plug.

Nice job, and great write up. I do have a question. Do you have to use the Taco Bell sauce to lubricate the wires to pull them through? Or is it just to spice up the installation? 🤣

Thanks for the roadmap! I’ve been wanting to do this! Might be the only option not on the truck that I wanted!

If you know how to crimp and deal with molex pins/connectors I can get you some Part #s! The Ford Pigtail kits are an absolute rip-off

Nice job! I have been contemplating replacing my non-slider with a salvaged auto slider. Is the manual slider frame identical to the auto? How did you attach the regulator to the actual window?

Yes, the manual slider has the hook ups for the cables, you just need the motor with the cables.

Please, list them for us all.

I see you did the same thing I keep thinking of doing when I’m driving but forget when I park and get out because that’s all I’m thinking about is getting out of the truck😆 removing the rear headrests when not in use for better rear visibility!🫡

Okay so if you want to use the original switch from a Lariat you will need this connector and pins from Mouser
6 pin molex
Here are the pins, they are cheap, buy 10 of them
Female molex pins

I was hesistant to post the connector for the motor becuase there is some different iterations of it. Dont buy the connector til you have the motor in hand, if possible ask the wreck yard for the pigtail if they will do it.

If this is what your motor connector looks like, this is the connector/pins you will need.

If you eat that much Taco Bell, I can see why you need to open that rear slider quickly 😜
