I come here semi regularly and browse topics as I await my own truck to arrive, and I am astounded at some of the things people complain about. I don't mean to pick on the OP specifically in this case, but you came on and made a post about water bottle fitment. Really? And I've seen a dozen online videos of people using various bottle such as the hydroflask referenced earlier in this thread that fit perfectly. It isn't that hard to find something that fits. And if not, every car Ive ever owned previously has not held every liquid container ive tried to put in it perfectly.

I remember when vehicles didn't even have cup holders to complain about. I bought a plastic holder that attached to the door by the window.
Remember these.

That and the complaints that come are often that of which I might expect about a luxury car. Like the audio stuff. I love good music and sound, so I am planning to upgrade mine. But this is a truck that in its absolute most expensive configuration is under $40k. I am not sure what so many buyers are expecting.

In my modest opinion, the only problem with cars is that there are car designers. These self-aggrandizing clowns feel they have to make their "design mark" on the industry. So they do stupid things like put giant nostrils on the front of BMWs. Or put a ridiculously unusable sweeping bulkhead full of buttons between the passenger and the driver in a Corvette. The list goes on and on and on.

These are the people who brought you piano black. Who brought you visibility in name only. Who took away buttons and knobs because a swooping screen looks cooler (the heck with safety or human factors). And a million other fails. So they can brag about "delivering something new" on their resume. Meanwhile, Porsche has been building the same brilliant 911 since the 60s, with tiny tweaks until it's perfect.

May car designers catch the pox, the lot of them.

Why is this an issue for anyone.?Just put it on the passenger seat. If there is a passenger, just get one of those $6.99 coolers that collapse and put it on the floor.

I wouldn't be whining if they would say, "Hey, these are the bottles that fit..."
Ford can't give a list of bottles that fit .. The openings were obviously designed to fit bottles of hand sanitizer only😵💫

Update... Ford and McDonalds are obviously in league cause a large pop container fits perfectly in the door opening!!😵💫

Ford should sell replacment door panels with normal, usable door pockets. I would buy them and replace my speakers at the same time. Love my truck though.

Just remember, all these great designs(ers) you appear to love so much, have to be approved by multiple levels of managers & executives before they ever see the light of day. ;)

I wondered why they marketed it so much. Guess they think yuppies that are into carrying lots of water bottles will flock to the Maverick. I use cup holders for drive-through drinks, pepsi bottles, or cans. I use the door pockets for other items. I don’t think cars need tall bottle holders when cup holders have worked for decades. Just get a big gulp from 7-eleven and ditch the tall, awkward bottles.

It's not just cars & trucks. Have you looked at some of the furniture being sold today or tried sitting on them? o_O

I may have just won the water bottle lotto but all the bottles I have fit without an issue. I have 3 then I regularly use and all fit and have never fallen over.

I came on to express my frustration at having tried so many different bottles and none fit the front door pocket and also the the rear is too loose for some bottles and my bottle popped out and spilled 24oz of water all over my floor board.
