I've never even owned a computer and don't have children. CD players may not be for everyone but they sure are nice to have when all these playlists through Spotify or Iheart or whatever play the same damn songs over and over and over again 😑 fortunately I have an old Technics rack system at home and still am able to listen to records, cassettes and cds 😎

In every freakin' topic about CD players someone always has to pipe up and say not to use CDs. The question isn't about how to listen to music; it's about how to listen to CDs.
That is a lot of topics on this forum. Instead of answering the persons question people have to pipe in with an unsolicited opinion.

Get one of your grandchildren to put them on a USB drive and you can plug that in to the USB slot and listen to all your CDs that way
And of course I need to change the labeling or some sort of data for the Maverick to read my folders as I had them arranged to work on my Silverado. Or I could pop in the CD I want to hear. BTW I have vinyl over 50 years old that I still play and I also have vinyl less than 3 years old. I personally find the fact USBs can hold hundreds of CDs to be the problem. I don;t want to go through menus to listen to the 1 I want to hear. Love the factory CD player in my 2005 Mustang.

I hate my POS radio/ sound system in my 2024 XLT. Car Play sucks with loosing stations all the time. I spend more time looking at the infotainment than the road while I'm driving becuase it dosn't work.

I do have a YouTube music subscription, how can I listen to that instead of Car Play. I'm no teckie. Just to old I guess.
