I feel your frustration.
I miss having a CD player. I got rid of my PC and laptop when it started saying that Vista was outdated and the system would not work.
I have no PC or Laptop to rip CDs on to a flash drive. 100% phone based.

The above is everything I have to convert CD's

I won't use any imaging statements like 'CD scattered all over the truck.'

I ordered a POSSPO Jupiter off Amazon a year and a half ago. Works fine, I'm very happy with it. Attached it under the cigarette lighter receptacle with velcro and braced it with part of a pool noodle

So it was plug an play for you? Sync found the CD player and it worked?

I have one similar to that and it works fine, but I notice you also have a 2024 model. The OP has a 2026. Maybe Ford changed something with the 2025 update that won't let these things work.

Get one of your grandchildren to put them on a USB drive and you can plug that in to the USB slot and listen to all your CDs that way

That's not an option for a lot of folks.
Situations are not universal.
I'm 71 never had any kids. Although I have a 3-year-old grandson that lives with my 40 year old stepdaughter in southern France.

Now I want to try to make a USB floppy drive work, so I can play all my old MIDI files. ;)

For the record I've owned 100s of cds myself at one point but digitized all them many years ago to lossless flac files. CDs to me are like vinyl these days they have one final use and that is to use them for skeet shooting.

In every freakin' topic about CD players someone always has to pipe up and say not to use CDs. The question isn't about how to listen to music; it's about how to listen to CDs.

Uploaded all my LPs (45s&33s) and CDs to my PC media server (by album) connected to my router. Then copied the entire collection to my cell phone music file.

Now when I need to listen on any vehicle, I can use my BT phone connection to any vehicle and WALLA! Got my whole music collection via my cell phone "iPod like" music catalog in any vehicle, office, room, wherever to play.

...And I still have my old (still working) Technics directdrive turntable that I bought in the AAFEES store in the Wiesbaden PX Sight & Sound Center n 1985.
