I understand your frustration with complaints, but let me be devils advocate here...

Some people are here and vent or complain because all the people they were complaining to in real life threatened them with bodily harm.

Some people vent here to have a platform where others might agree or at least feel some of their angst.

Some people here are partially tongue in cheek about their complaints.

I am not complaining about the supply chain issues. When I complain, it's about communication between Ford and dealers or dealers and customers.

And just round numbers, but probly at least 25 percent were threatened with divorce if they mentioned the word Maverick to their partner again...lol

25% is probably pretty low.

Back to bacon.

I am never going to win the Indy 500.
I am never going to be a lead singer in a rock band.

All I have left is those two stripes of bacon with my eggs and toast every morning.

If the price of bacon goes much higher, my wife will start buying turkey bacon.

I'm afraid what I might do if one day I sit down to a plate of turkey bacon.............................................

I was at the AutoNation Honda Dealership in Lewisville TX to get a 4-Wheel Alignment done on the wife's 2009 Honda CR-V Ex. While I was there there were only three vehicles in the display area. Two were used and the new one was a "2021 Honda Civic Type-R" MSRP of $44,990. Dealer ADM of $25,000 plus dealer added Tint $399, Clear Guard $395, Protection Package $499. Total Price $71,238 before TT&L

Outside in the new car lot they had a total of 13 Cars/SUV's with ADM fees of $10,000 + the above dealer adds.

If you are going to buty a new car, now is the time to do it probably. Trade in values are high and the shortage of cars is probably only going to get worse. Heard there is a shortage of Magnesium now. Told my brother in 2020 he should trade in his 2008 Chevy Impala, but he said he didn't want car payments. Things falling apart and he's been spending money for repair after repair. Now he's talking about buying another (used) car. But now the price of them has gone up significantly.

I’ll put in my 2 cents.
I work in car sales. I see the used car prices. I work at Audi. I am ordering a maverick. Might even order a hybrid and wait for that ALSO there is currently no better utility to price point on the market than the maverick. I bought a 2019 Jetta in April for $16,500 out the door. I sold it last week for $23,400. That is absolutely ridiculous. I could buy a maverick for less than a used Jetta that’s why I said yes this makes sense.
Also I work at Audi and all of Autonation will not allow employee purchases.

Some great points here. I try to make a laugh about most anything on here. That is my approach. Others yell "the sky is falling!" And others get their torches and pitchforks.

If you don't like it, you can always just scroll... Like I'm sure your doing after this post...

I think they complain because they have nothing left to talk about until they actually take delivery. Then they can talk about things the non complainers discuss.
