!!PLEASE HELP!! Maverick reliability ?

Hello everyone,

I ordered my 2023 Ford Maverick XLT Hybrid (BAP AND LX PACKAGE) and it is going to be delivered by the end of the month-early June. I have been debating on if I want to sell my 2017 Lexus Is200t for the Maverick or to keep my current car. My only concern is reliability issues as we all know Lexus is known for being reliable, unlike the Maverick because there hasn't been enough data. If you have a HYBRID Maverick, please let me know if you have experience any issues or concerns with the car because I do not want to deal with car problems (headache)! Also if you have any opinions please let me know

I had an XLT and then a Lariat. Both hybrids, zero problems

I have had my Lariat for a year and 10K miles. Yes the radio froze twice. Hold the power button and the fast forward and it resets. no biggie. Its supposed to be MY Maverick but the wife loves to use it!

Had our Hybrid XLT (LUX/360) about a year ... absolutely love it & love driving it ... had "Deep Sleep" messages issues which were addressed by the dealership under warranty, but no real functional impairments ensued.
We are fortunate to be able to keep our MB SUV as a second car ... love driving that, too ... but most use now is on the 40+ combined MPG Maverick! ... best wishes!

Went from Audi Q5 to Maverick and you'll be surprised how well the Maverick rides. Well enough not to miss the Audi. I have the EB so can't say much about reliability but looked at the Escape issues as well as Focus 2.0 EB for issues and none of significance except carbon in the EB (which can be diminished by PM).

Only reoccurring issues are 12v and a lot of posts about that. There isn’t much left that Ford hasn’t looked into the cause(s) but still an issue but less frequent. The brakes are still grappy but semi-predictable in it will occur in wet events and very cold. But now, as Summer approaches does effect much.
I did try to get a new 2023 hybrid lariat which had dashboard and sensor issues ( together and related ) dealerships did say they fixed it but withdrew the sale to me.
Haven’t found a post here of others with same issue on 23 Lariat Hybrid.

Have had my Mav hybrid XLT lux for 17 months now with 13,000 miles on it. Haven't had a bit of trouble with it. Our second vehicle is a 2012 Prius which works out great for us. Plan on keeping this for a long time, but am not gonna lie. I am going to take a look at the new Toyota compact pick up they plan on releasing in the future. Suppose to come in a hybrid also. We will see.

Watch out for water leaks. Quite a few of us are dealing with rain water getting into the cabin and ruining the carpet.

15 months and 13k miles and 5he only issue I’ve had was a battery cable that was installed loose at the factory and came off a month or so ago.

Ordered in July 2021 picked up October 2022 xlt with all the bells and whistles cg maverick I only drive it on weekends after 4 days goes into deep sleep mode on Wednesday or Thursday I pay no attention to it. Walk out every Saturday morning starts up every time great truck it works perfectly no complaints here. Ford did a great job with this truck fits my needs.

500 miles in and Mine has been rock solid. Few hick up with Android auto and the Infotainment system, but that's well documented.

I let them talk me into the warranty and Maintenance package as it was my First Ford and my first Hybrid, but my goal is to get at least 10 years out of this - I got 15 out of my Last truck

One of the cool things about my dealership is that oil, tire rotation and state inspections are free for life! Plus engine for life and a bunch of other benefits for one year.
