I've owned many vehicles over the years, including several Honda elements at various points.

Being a Scion xB owner we are basically kin, hahaha. The Maverick is absolutely the right choice here assuming the wait is doable.

Thank you all for the input. I heading tomorrow to the dealer to see a mav they have. I'm just a little on edge by reading some of the thing new owners are experiencing.

So EcoBoost would work best to all the driving I be doing?

Ecoboost if the majority of the miles are highway, hybrid if they are mostly city miles.

I disagree that the Ecoboost is the way to go if mostly highway. I owned an EB for almost 2,000 miles. It's good.

But the hybrid is the answer, regardless. That is the engine to have unless you MUST have AWD, which obviously coming from an xB you don't. Getting the hybrid is an automatic savings of $1,085 and then fuel savings on top. Even if the hybrid is only 10% more efficient on the highway, this adds up.

I vote Hybrid unless you plan to tow 2-4k pounds or have a need for the additional horsepower. It is possible Ford has Eruption Green available for 23

Photo shopped Maverick and real Bronco

Whatever you do-don't test drive a Maverick until you are in a position to buy............you might be tempted to overpay..........they are really that good. Plenty of room for 4 , comfortable seats , a decent sized bed to haul most things and oh................let's not forget the amazing MPG. Wouldn't sell mine back for what I paid.
