Should I chip? If so, which one? If not, why not?

yep you could bring the performance back to 22 level. As far as I know there are no tuners for the '25 2.0 EB yet. But if there were it would make a big difference as the new version of the 2.0 has a great deal of potential
Not, I think its money wasted unless your a pro dragracer..Should I chip? If so, which one? If not, why not?
You might consider Thorton Chip Tuning. Not sure if they have the 2025 OBDII Port Chip available yet. However, I chipped my 2024 Maverick and Edge, both with 2.0L EB. I selected a stage 3 boast to gain 50hp and 5.0mpg. I'm very happy for $99.00 each!Should I chip? If so, which one? If not, why not?

NopeKidding aside but are companies still making chips these days?
Not entirely sure what any of that has to do with Mavericks, but gasoline turbo engines like the EcoBoost are easily tunable for 25+ horsepower gains. Maybe more importantly, the transmission torque management and shift quality can be greatly improved. There are plenty of posts around here about tunes from reputable vendors like Cobb, Livernois, and so on... there is just nothing for 2025s yet.sometimes "confirmation bias" I have heard numerous guys increase the mpg on their Cummins by various tunes and tampering( some is undoubtedly) wishful thinking, when you are "rolling coal" you are wasting fuel,I have found by experience the EPA figures are not too far off,the only diesels I would recommend are(untampered) are the IDE,12 valve Cummins, and MB diesels, the old "Perkins" in Land rovers are noted for long life as well.
