Parking lights light up during car wash…

I’ve noticed that when I go to the DIY Car Wash and spraying the front end, my parking lights come on temporarily. Has anyone else experienced this? Not sure if it has something to do with the front sensors. I have a 2025 XLT Hybrid. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sounds like "welcome lights" and probably nothing to do with the car wash.

It must be something to do with the keyless entry, mine does it too and my Grand Cherokee with keyless entry does it as well.

It's water (or brushes) hitting the "finger lock" area on your door handle.

When I take the Mustang or the Maverick to the car wash and have the key fob in my pocket and I spray the water by the door handles or even on the back side of the Mustang where the trunk release is my lights turn on it's no big deal

I think it was a tongue in cheek comment. Like the truck gets all hot and bothered from getting a rub down. lol "Turned on"

Ya'll; I am old as well. My mav gets a rubbing and soaping up every 6 months weather she needs it or not. She just clicks and grunts (my kid says she grunts) when we come near her with or without a key fob.

We take it that shes looking forward to going for a drive; kinda like mans best friend. She does do a kinda grunt/low pitch squeal. I have NO CLUE what makes that noise.

If anyone knows; please enlighten me.
