I test drove both - the Outerbanks 3 made such a racket when you stepped on the gas that I knew I couldn't live with it. The Badlands was a bit more expensive, but it has the 4. Ford is making the 4 available for 2026, but they're taking away some standard features to pay for it.
I've had Ford trucks for as long as I can remember. I'm a bit older now and my Home Depot runs are few and usually for nuts and bolts. My hauling lumber and stuff for remodeling or rebuilding are over. My SO asked if I really needed a truck and I gave it lots of thought. As of Monday, I'm in...
My husband drives a yacht size electric BMW with more programs than you can imagine. You'll never find me behind the wheel. He only drives the Mav or the Mazda to the gas station when we need to cash in on points.
Many years ago, Dodge claimed that the Dakota was the best truck in its class. At the time, it was the only midsize truck. Times have changed. I don't know what size LONE is. It is, somewhat, comparable to my old (2010) Ranger, but a tad larger. And, it's no where near as large as my 2019...
I just got Hot Pepper LONE back from the body shop and there was an up-charge for the paint. I've also been scouting the local Ford lots and looking at Bronco Sports. Most of the "interesting" colors have up-charges. I foresee a time when cars/trucks will be delivered in primer and you'll be...
LONE is back! As y'all may have guessed, I went with the 100%. If you are in the MD/DC area, I highly recommend Maryland Collision. A bit expensive, but done right. (y)
I have two estimates. One is "not 100%" for $395, the other is from a trusted body shop for $692. I'm a firm believer in do it once, do it right. Guess where LONE is going tomorrow. :like:
