Not complaining just answering the questions someone above asked me. The whole reason this post is up is because I’m completely new to this I just wanted to make sure everything I did was sufficient and if there is anything else I can do that I do it in time to possibly still get a maverick.




the issue is that I have done exactely what you said and contacted the dealer asking for all this information and they refused to give me any order info. Which is why this whole process is annoying.

Knowing others are going through the same thing at least makes me worry a little less that I am not getting a maverick at all.
Move on to another dealer, Stop wasting your time with a dealer who isn't willing to give you something as basic as a photo.. They did not place your email in the system.

I have two on order from different dealers. One is a converted MY22 to MY23 conversion; got the email on Friday AM. Second, new, MY23 Hybrid XL, got an initial email from my 2nd dealer; I've been told the order is sort of in a "holding pattern" as they process the orders but I should be receiving my 2nd email soon.

Many of us have had luck with getting confirmation from Ford's chat. They can confirm if your order is in the system. Many dealers appear to be leaving off the customer email on the orders. Which is silly but it depends on how they place their orders in the system. My dealer did them all in one sitting and so I can see where just skipping that step would save time over the long run especially given how random email addresses can be. Just taking 10 seconds to type and email and verify you typed the email correctly over 112 orders adds almost 20 minutes to the entire process.

When in doubt, call your dealer.

Tim from Long McArthur called me FROM HOME yesterday (ON A SUNDAY!) to get my 2022-2023 rollover order in. While I was still on the phone with him I got my email confirmation from Ford. That is the level of service that has me willing to drive (or fly) from North Carolina to Kansas to pick up my new Maverick.

TLDR, if the order is placed in the system the email confirmation from Ford will generally be quite prompt. Not getting one is suspicious.

I ordered Saturday about 4 pm. The system was crashed again, so hopefully they can submit this morning.

Not sure if I’m the only one losing their mind here but the dealer said they supposedly had my order go through but still no email not giving me too many warm and fuzzies. Anyone else going through this also yes seeing the comment I just got my email makes me sad if anyone was wondering lol
There were problems entering Maverick orders...including entering emails. Ford advised entering in cust email later if necessary. That may be what happened,

I'm on hold with the chat now I feel like I annoyed my dealer enough lol if they don't have any info on it ill probably head over and see if they can get me more info.
