Still no confirmation email

I tried placing an order for a 2023 Ford Maverick yesterday via email. Dealer was not sure about 2023 model changes but told me to send a 2022 Lariat build to match when placing an order. Later was asked for a copy of ID. Have not heard back since. Is this the same for anybody else?

Did your dealer successfully place an order on WBDO? I heard there was some system instability on Ford's side today like yesterday so maybe your order slipped through the cracks or went down at the time of your order being submitted?

I would follow up with your dealer in a few days just to make sure it goes through. Also heard some people took a few hours to get the email so maybe yours is still on the way.

It took about 6 hours after placing my order to get a confirmation from Ford

I put an order in on Thursday actually going to the dealer and making sure my order went through and I still have no email its unbelievably frusterating.

Yep. I received a text from the guy doing the ordering last night telling me he put it in. I also stopped by the dealership this morning and they assured me it has been put in. So, 24 hours without a confirmation. I have seen a confirmed 30 hour wait posted and I've seen past posts about people never getting an email and their order still being built.

There's a reason Ford build cars and not database warehouses...

I've read through hundreds of threads. If you haven't got an email (most are within hours) it's either because the order was not submitted properly, they entered an incorrect email address for you, or it went to spam. Your dealer should be able to show you some type of confirmation (their email, DORA, etc.)

Also, get a copy of the order (MINIMUM) you placed making sure all required info is on it (name, address, phone, and email).

GO to another dealer. Sounds like that dealer does not order many Mavericks. Very scary ;(

Ask for a signed BUYERS ORDER. That way to have a signed document that your order was placed

Unfortunately I have tried reaching out numerous times to Bob Tomes Ford in McKinney regarding confirmation. Looks like it is too late. Not very happy with the lack of communication.
