Just got my weekly Tuesday night email from Ford, moved to Dec. 19th. Why can't they just say you're getting a 2023 and we don't know when it's getting built

Because they're a giant machine with procedures and robots all busy following the formulas set in place. All of your parameters add up to a certain date. When your parameters (parts, shipping, glitch in the line, whatever) change the equation and change your date and bingo!
Not only do they not tell us shit, they don't tell the dealers shit either.

Just got a confirming email from Ford as to 12/19 build week.

You're getting converted to a '23.

Got the infamous moved to 12/19 email. Customer service told me that earlier today so not shocked. Oh well

I have had vin since April.........feel sorry for people that got bumped......wait wish I would have got bumped .....at this point my battery will be dead. Might as well sit there in yard another month

Well just found out that my truck won’t be a 22. Customer service assured me that it will go to the front of the line. Sure.
Ford will be sending out info concerning those cancelled vin orders soon. Sure.
Shortage of transmissions was the reason this time. And now I wait

Funny the forum title should list a calendar year.

Wonder if ford will let me add back the lux package sincecinam being converted and keep at front of line. Unlikely.

Since I got the email pushing me to 12/19, I guess I better find out what has or has not been removed from the XLT package. Can someone point me in the direction of that info. Thanks

Just got bumped from 12/12 to 12/19. If the December builds are all canceled and converted to 23s why are they bumping them?

Officially got the infamous Tuesday email stating build week 12/19. Knew that last week as did many of us via ford chat. Spoke to dealership last week and was told it will be a my23. When???! Who knows. I see many hybrid XLT’s being built for folks who ordered many days if not a month after me and that is still irking me. It’s always hurry up and wait with Ford it seems. Had an interesting exchange with Ford via this forum though just to be told the same crap. Yea yea. Wait some more. Hope the dealer does the right thing when it finally does come in. IF it does at all.

How long did it take from Shipped to Final Preparation? Right now my Hybrid is showing being shipped to the dealership (5 days & 5 hours and counting).
