NO WINDSHIELD TINTING 23+ Ford models

I was planning to get clear ceramic tinting all around for heat & UV rejection.

Dropped off the truck this morning and just got this update from the shop.

Anyone know if ther is a workaround for this?

I live in a desert and the heat & UV rejection is something I direly need

The work around is a good tint guy. My Ram had the same warning and I still tinted mine. They don't want to have to pay for someone's expensive module, so that is why this kind of warning.

For what its worth, I also did the windshield on my Maverick. I doubt there is actually any difference in module location on my 22 vs a 23 model.

Why cant they just put something over the dash to catch any water...seems easy enough

Pro tint shops have this for that reason.

My '23 is tinted, and we tint a lot of other Ford windshields in our shop. We use the soak rope at the bottom to catch the solution and we are good to go. Find another window tinter if they won't do it.

I have a 2023 Lariat and had the windshield ceramic tinted and also had the eyebrow done. No issue so far and was never told not to.

Gee, my wife has cleaned the Inside of her maverick lariat windshield at least twice.

Am I to believe that a major auto manufacturer is going to void warranties on every tinted vehicle for EVERY model for EVERY year going forward?
