Everytime you go to a dealer and make a transaction, you lose money and they make money. Its that simple. So they want you to trade as often as possible.
YOU decide when to buy a car based on YOUR needs and YOUR situation. Not the dealer. If there is no good reason in your life to change...
Hail resistant truck cover from SealSkin. This is barely used. I bought because I used to park truck in the driveway, but now have cleaned out garage to make room. Dallas / Fort Worth area.
I paid $170, will sell for $120 or best offer.
If it were me, would take it to dealer to look over. Let them tell you if it is something trivial or not. Then you will be better informed if this happens again.
I have another bed divider towards the cab, in the horizontal position across the wheel well. Just made out of spare wood, it doesnt really do much for me, but maybe will come in handy.
I just cut slots into the "standard" wood divider that align with slots in the bed. Then cut 1x6 for the length of the bed from divider to tailgate and added some small pieces at end for support to them, besides the tailgate closed also keeps them from slipping around. Stays in place well...
I have to agree with other about those tire debris on the road. Those things are strong and heavy, they will have signicant force when hit at highway speeds. In order for a vehicle to protect against that, would likely require significant cost and weight(reduced mpg) to the vehicle. I doubt...
It sounds like your driving is more attentive to protect your new vehicle, making you more aware of the dangers. Its also possible the maverick is giving you better vision than your previous vehicle, or features you didn't have before, such as blind spot detection, are alerting you to more danger.
I have seen ZERO evidence provided that Mavs get rearended more than other vehicles. This is a matter of perception.
Rear ending is a common accident that occurs. People post pictures of their accidents. They do not usually post if it is their own fault, i.e. they rear end someone else. They...
As much as I may want to believe this, a truck is not a sportscar, and will never be iconic like a sportscar can be. Who can predict the future though? Mavericks could become collectible if Ford discontinues them too early with limited vehicles sold.
I didnt read the yahoo comments but I dont think the author cares. He cashes his check for views even if everyone hates him. For all we know OP is yahoo author in secret and got us all to read his article.
Yup. This is my first truck, and my first ford. If ford continues to make them, and it proves reliable, I will likely buy another in my life. Those F150 would mostly still be sitting on lot if the mav never existed. The mav is mostly poaching from other brands, not fords other vehicles. It...
The author just mad and making clickbait. I think his characterization of Mav fans is completely unfair, based on the users on this forum. Of course there are bad apples in any group.
His points comparing a mav to minivan are interesting to me, having thought about it and owning both myself...
I order this cover for the backseat, and it fits pretty much perfectly. It appears to be the exact one Ford offers for Mavericks and Broncos. The difference of course it is cheaper and there are several color options, with mine being gray. It does obscure the straps that fold the seat, but...
