Call me old fashioned, but if I offer something for sale, I expect to fulfill my obligation even if I am not legally obliged to. My bigger point is that there are a lot of people who used to trust Ford that no longer do.No offense but this is entitlement and clearly they don't need yours or anyone else's referral to sell a Maverick considering nobody can really get one.
My point exactly. I think this is extremely short sighted. Ford was making a huge inroad into a segment of the population who never thought about buying a pickup. Now, those folks are going to looking at the Santa Cruz, etc. Once Toyota, Nissan or Honda gets it figured out, Ford will lose that introductory path.I'm not going to Monday morning qb Jim Farley but I just don't think he's worried about a bunch of disgruntled potential Maverick owners
Yeah, I am not happy with those folks either. On the other hand, you seem to think it is ok for Ford not to act with their customers best interests in mind, why should the speculators be held to a higher standard? I ordered from a small local dealer because I believe in supporting my local businesses. I guess I should have tried to game the system myself. If you want to be upset with anyone, be upset with those who have ordered 3, 4, and even more 2024 Mavericks that I've seen just to try and game the system.
