Just great!! Well that will give me time to write to the Director of Ford Customer Experience. I need to share a few ideas with him since the New Vehicle Support Team doesn't want to talk to me.
I ordered an XL in June and was assured then that I would get it by November. The last thing I heard was in October, when they said it would be delivered "next year". This is not the way to keep new customers happy. If there is a Director of Ford Customer Experience, he should probably get fired. Customers like getting accurate information.

upare: this man made mess about chips is disgusting….manufactures all knew we would be in this delema one day and they all did nothing. The first automaker that makes autos with the fewest chips will reap the reward. The chip act also has been stalled for over a year…whocares about you baby?

I hope Chevy and Toyota and whoever else makes a small truck with a long bed option. Not everyone wants a double cab.

Well, that's bogus. I really thought mine would get scheduled this week (2/14) because it's at priority code 2 and I'd seen some other mid-August Lariat hybrids w/lux getting scheduled. Now no joy for the upcoming week either. Oh, well....another few miles on the '97 Camry.
My frustrations are getting me to a very bad place in my heart with Ford..I ordered the most loaded Lariat you could get.. please Ford take my money.

This has become a cynical Shell Game.

Mav hybrid is the Gateway Drug leading to higher spending on more profitable merchandise.

Did I use Bait & Switch yet?

Let them drive cake.
Etc, etc.
Maybe Subaru will bring out a hybrid truck and Ford will realize they dropped the ball

Sucks to see a August 25 order for the exact same as mine of July 12 get built before mine
I’ve seen September orders that are the same as my unscheduled mid June order get a build date last Thursday!

Well this makes feel better about ordering a Tacoma today. July order and almost everyone that got scheduled this week had later order dates. Good luck to everyone waiting and I hope the Maverick is as good as it seems. Anyone in PA keep an eye on Twin Pine Ford in Ephrata there will be a velocity blue hybrid xlt lux 360 available there apparently in the distant future.

I think Ford is trying to do the right thing and expedite the longer standing hybrid orders once they get they available parts.
I hope you are right.

Yeah. The only way us Detroit Lions fans can get to a super bowl is to trade our quarterback and have him play for another team. Which BTW, Ford owns the Lions, so that's probably why their Maverick scheduling suck. Run by the same people who manage the Lions.

I have a nephew just out of college who was hired by a major accounting firm in a large city almost 18 months ago. He would have been spending the best part of $40 day between commuting costs and overpriced lunches. He has been in the office a grand total of 3 times and one of those days was a Christmas gathering. He loves it and the company said they see this option being permanent. Not only is he not wasting at least three hours a day commuting, he has saved thousands and thousands of dollars. Went and got himself a brand new Jeep Rubicon which will last him 15 years at his current mileage and he is way ahead on his student loan payments. His only commute is down one flight of stairs to the refrigerator lol.
As I tell anyone who will listen: if your job doesn’t require you to be there, it can be done (outsourced) anywhere on the planet to the lowest bidder with similar skills.

I got to see this in action with thousands of folks losing their high paying tech jobs that were outsourced.
