New software update??

So ive had my truck for about 3 weeks now. I tried to update it thru wifi and there was no update available at the time. Did not have bluetooth connection issues until about the last week and now my iphone 13 disconnects pretty much every drive and sometimes it reconnects and sometimes it doesnt. I tried to look to see if there was recently a update released that maybe is the cause of this but could not find anything. Anyone know? Or does anyone have any solutions? I have the XLT model

You check to see if it’s the phone? I know on my iPhone 12 pro Bluetooth gets glitchy sometimes and will outright refuse to connect to some of my Bluetooth devices sometimes

I dont have any issues with bluetooth headsets or anything else so it has to be the truck

If you have airpods or anything remotely close to you that your iphone is or was once connected to, that could be the issue. I have a blutooth speaker on my disc golf back and when i carry my airpods in my pocket, they sometimes get confused.

Just out of curiosity though, have you tried resetting the Bluetooth on the phone at all?

I have this problem with my XLT as well. Bluetooth to my wife’s iPhone 12 disconnects every 10 minutes or so and then reconnects. The phone works well over Bluetooth in our other vehicles. I’m hoping an update corrects this eventually. Fortunately Apple CarPlay works great.

yes exact same issue. i just try to plug it in now. i wish we had a way to add wireless carplay but the device i had for my corolla does not work for this truck unfortunately

Android user here, I constantly experience random pops when playing audio through Android Auto, the radio has locked up twice and rebooted once. All of this in the span of four days (just delivered).

I wondered when it would get to the point where you have to update your cars infotainment software, never had to with my 2014 Volt.

There have been at least 4 infotainment system updates (not counting the map updates) for my 2018 Subaru Outback (bought it new in February 2018). Two within the first year, then one each of the next two years. Nothing but map updates over this past year.

I was checking at least twice a week for a Sync software update. Today one was available. Not sure what it includes. Took about 6 minutes to download on WiFi.

No it will just update the time stamp below on the last time it was checked.
