Change is happening, fines, Quality Control reviews by third party. This forum and it's posts with actual photos and work order copies is plenty of evidence. Faster response to issues has sterted. Articles letting the public know. Stock price drop. Most Recalls in the last 2 years by a manufacturer. There are more than just normal issues and forever to fix if ever just a software issue. I could be wrong but, so far they have no software fix for the camera. What about hardware, cost to much.
Since you made the claim in your post.

Sorry but I don't settle. I love the idea of the Maverick but it is regrettable it is a Ford. You can go ahead and get used to it - very poor quality, I don't accept it. I hold them accountable and as others on this forum have, will call them out. It's the only way you get change.

Just curious how YOU are calling them out in order to get change?

I hope you don't think it's by simple posts on a public forum.
"is plenty of evidence" - to who?

It almost sounds like you may think this forum is more than it is - do you think this is a Ford official monitored site?

Except every vehicle has these kinds of problems these days, no matter the manufacturer. So by your definition buying any vehicle is "settling" these days.

So, uh, I guess enjoy riding the bus? 😆
Modern vehicles, modern problems. I have a 53 year old Plymouth that has had zero recalls in 53 years 😆

Sounds like you just need to buy a different vehicle instead of tilting at windmills. Then you won't be so unhappy. Ford CEO has been working on quality. Every model new design upgrade requires a 6 week hold before shipping so they can do assembly quality checks. I've been buying new cars for 56 years and over time cars have more problems as they get more complicated. It's inevitable. Just like the Microsoft blue screen of death, or all the security glitches in most software. You need to get used to this or think about becoming Amish. They just need to worry about a bearing recall on their buggies.
Might be more problems but what are the chances of a car from the 1970's making it to 200,000+ miles? Probably next to none and you'd be lucky to see 100k. Nowadays most any new car on the road can easily make it there.

More news of garbage build quality. Many buyers will make excuses like you don't need it or if camera freezes use mirrors. Ford keeps proving over and over they are shit in a lipstick box. The leader by double in recalls the last 2 years.

Good news is sales are only 50% of last year.
Chill, dude.

Does it have zero recalls, or have you just never checked to see if there was one? 😆

And at this point you've spent more in maintenance than a new Maverick twice over most likely, and your gas mileage is terrible. If you drove a 1970s car regularly where I live, that frame would be held together by nothing more than rust and a prayer at this point too.

Not to mention what happens in a crash...

But claiming a 1970s Chrysler is the epitome of reliability is just about the funniest damned thing I've heard all day.

Well,I never said anything about reliability, just zero recalls,if you read my post. And actually, all I've replaced in that time is tires, batteries and breaks, and one gas tank, the frame is fine,it hasnt been driven in winter in at least 35 years. prolly about 3 grand total ,my Maverick was 33 grand,so not even close! Gas mileage? Never checked it,never cared.

$5,000 in 1973 dollars = about $35,000 in today's dollars.

The OP said I spent more in maintenance than the purchase price of my maverick,I bought the Cuda used for 2 grand,I've spent about 3 grand in maintenance in the 36 years I've owned it.my maverick was over 33 grand.keep in mind this is an antique,I only put about 1500 miles a year on it.
